How close is Blood Knight to seeing play? I feel like there's alllllmost enough divine shield to make a case for it?

reasonable tech card. really good against early annoy o trons, which seem to be a staple of mech mage / mech shaman. always good vs paladin. i used one for a little while in my handlock as the anti rush deck tech and it worked out OK.

Blood Knight does see some limited play in Pally decks. I think the meta is actually shifting away from it right now.

At the beginning of GvG Justsaiyan was running a midrange Pally deck with 2 Bloodknights
that he took to single digit legend. I played it and it was good, but I don't know if it was the best pally deck. He probably could have taken any of the midrange pally variants that high.

I'm currently trying out Foe Reaper in my mech mage. It's insane if boom gets played with reaper on board because you just ping the boom and hit a bot with the foe reaper for a massive board clear. It's also ridiculously good vs. Druid because there's not a really good way for them to deal with it. Problems: it's slow, but not as slow as sneed's I believe, which is finding a lot of play in viable decks.

I expect there is a meta sometime in the next year or two that Foe Reaper finds play. As stated it can be a win condition versus Druid.

I run both Foe Reaper and Recombobulator in Druid Tree of Life deck. It's a good 8 drop and can mess a lot of stuff up. Fits the deck fine because you're often getting it out on Turn 5-7 and it slays an entire board of mechwarpers, azure drakes, etc. It benefits as a mech from stuff like mechwarper, powermace, etc. Then when it gets silenced or damaged you can recombob it into Ragnaros.

Some sort of epic ramp + mechwarper Druid deck could get it out on Turn 4 and really just slay the game from there.

The problem, of course, is that Foe Reaper is very slow and doesn't change the game state when played. In the current meta, you play Foe Reaper, your opponent ignores it and kills your face.

Same thing can be said about similar slow cards in the current meta, like Sneed's and Ysera. I agree it's slow, no question about it. But it's completely insane when you're in a neutral or even about to lose your grip on the board situations.

Foe was the first GvG Legendary I opened. I initially tried it in a "over budget" Warrior deck with stuff like ogres and dancing swords in an attempt to always have board presence. It did not go well. I tried Foe in a couple of other decks but on the rare chance I got to play him, killing a couple of 2/3's or whatever small minions were around wasn't all that special. It's nice to think that you're getting 18 points worth of swing out of him but in reality it's not the case.

I could see it being fun in a Shaman deck with windfury though. Maybe there's some room at the top end of the mech Shaman.

If you're ahead you dont get many tokens. If you're behind it's kind of an underwhelming card to spend an entire turn on. Andif it gets dealt with you get plowed. BGH makes it a necessity that your 7+ attack minions do something huge immediately. Sure sometimes you'll get it out on turn 5 or 6 and just win with a roar but I'm it would be done by now if it were actually viable.

The only way they can remove BGH is if they change giants a lot and/or nerf warlock hero power, otherwise as soon as you remove BGH handlock becomes the dominant control class by a wide margin.

Yup. Kibler poster EXACTLY this. Turn 4 giants make it a necessity unfortunately. Really ruins a lot of fun cards/decks.

I was thinking about that. If you did a massive overhaul, and changed it to 8 or more, you could actually make some cards (like the bearcat) potentially playable.

You'd change Boom to a 8/6 for example, etc etc

I think BGH is ok. There needs to be the threat of it. It's usually a "1 of" in decks m that choose to run it. And when it doesn't have a target, it can be sort of a dead card which gives it 0 value. Killing a giant or Ragnaros cheaply is a ton of value, but I think it's sort of evened out when you have to play him as a weak board presence against a rush deck just because he's your only 3 mana card and passing or using your hero power isn't enough.

What do people think about... SECRETKEEPER as a 1 drop? Considering Mage, Hunter & Paladin are the 3 most played classes atm it seems good. I threw it in my FACELOCK last night and it seemed to work pretty fine. It'd surely work even better in Hunter decks.

When we're stretching 1 drops to give us two damage, once (Worgen Infiltrator) how far of a stretch is Secretkeeper? It's like Undertaker, but with secrets!
