My Opponent: Turn 1 the 1/3 that makes you draw when you discard. Plays irrelevant spell.
Me: Turn 1 2/1 stealth, plays irrelevant spell.
Opponent: Turn 2 dark peddler, plays astral communion, gets 10 crystals, draws 2-3 cards, gets a 1 cost card. Played another creature, it evolves them all up, plays another creature, gives them all +1 +1
This tavern brawl is really fun or really terrible.
I played a game and I put down the 1 mana 1/2 inspire that gains +1 attack.
Spell summons 4 murlocs.
For the next 3 turns, his spell would damage whatever he played just enough that my ping or 1 murloc would kill it. So my guy was 5/2. He conceded.
Game before that, turn 1 Pyro my own face. Turn 2 Pyro my own face, Turn 3 fireball my face.
I played as a druid against the paladin. Their doomsayers prevented me from dropping 10/10 minions, so it has it's place.
People are complaining about the other decks (e.g., the Kazakus deck isn't Reno enabled because it has duplicates). But the jade druid deck didn't seem to far off the meta. Was pretty cool to play a deck with both Fandral and Aya, neither of which I have yet.
Rogue deck with 26 spells, Barnes, Faceless Manipulator, Blood of the Ancient One x2. Don't use any 4 or 5 mana spells. Conceal and Shadowstep make it easier but they aren't necessary.
Hearthstone is way more fun when you're a Timmy (or was is Johnny?) and not a Spike.
It's a PvE, build your own deck brawl. As stated above, you don't get a pack, buy you do get a card back for beating him.
Beating the actual boss is pretty easy. But there is a secret cow level if you pop all three of his secrets. Allegedly, you don't get anything for beating the secret level.
