I really caught the short end of the variance stick in my matches.
Match 1: Controlling board against a warrior and he has one card in hand on turn 8.
Turn 8 Rag- He snipes a 7/7 then I trade into him
Turn 9 Grom+slam- I BGH
Turn 10 Grom- I recycle
Turn 11 Grom- I die
WT holy F
Match 2 I'm crushing it with a well developed board and a mage rolls off 3 fireballs and a pyroblast. GG
Match 3 I'm crushing it with a huge board and pally goes equality consecrate (HOW??) and then Tirion, who is effectively impossible to counter in this format
Match 4 I switch from druid to pally and gain all the god drops.
Yeah I didn't particularly enjoy this one. I don't mind RNG-heavy Brawls but this one plays super slow if your opponent takes a while to choose their cards.
Yeah that's the big problem, turns are too slow because you have to think no matter what.
My worst beat so far was vs a warrior who I had super low and concealed my team, more than enough to get through a normal taunt. He went molten into the warrior taunt giver dude.
My first opponent in this brawl was a paladin who pulled double Tirion. I actually could have beat the first one (my Warrior pulled a Crush on the first turn of the game and I was saving it for a bomb) but he still had Ashbringer out when he pulled the second.

The trick is to discover Nozdormu and then cry when you can never finish your turn in time
I keep starting the brawl, and then focusing somewhere else, coming back to the game to see 3 cards on my screen...and im like "ok lets mulligan away these big ass horse**** cards"
I managed to pull off the shadowcaller into malganis combo when I was collecting my pack yesterday. My only regret is it ended the game before I could play the kel thuzad

I picked Nozdormu in an attempt to speed my opponent up. Instead, he took forever and ate into my turn.
You get crazy stuff with the RNG. I got 3 Tirions in one match. My opponent rage quit after the 3rd one. I also picked BGH pretty early one match against a guy who deathwinged (with 3 cards left in his hand) and then I BGHed his deathwing and he friend messaged me afterwards. There was salt.
Goofy RNG brawl. Play a creature, get a spell of the same casting cost into your hand, but the cost to play the spell for you is 0. Summoning Stone treats the played spell as full cost however. I'm playing spell-free MechMage with Wyrms, Owls, Jeweled Scarabs, Summoning Stones, and Flamewakers.
I prefer mage with kirin tor, mad scientist, duplicate and spellbender. Duplicate flamewaker pretty evil. Also add summoning stone, auctioneer and troggzor for extra fun. Fill out rest of the deck with low cost minions so you get a bunch of spells. And shredders of course. It's not a hearthstone deck if you don't play shredders.
Alternatively just search for "cast a spell" and add all minions you find.
I played one. Made an all-minion deck with many mechs in Druid because I had a quest. Won the game against a mage that played a bunch of troggs and mana addict type cards. Thrashed him, got my back, and onto waiting for next week
