I got mage first game easy win. Hunter next 7 games and went 4-3 but op made some clearly bad plays in some games. Seems about right.

0-3 with hunter so far.

Won 2 jousts in those games and always fell way behind on the board where the mage's minions with stacking inspire abilities just crush anything I did. Having your hand clogged with 7-9 cost minions isn't fun. Luckily I keep drawing the refreshment vendor!

Yeah Mage earlier game so much stronger you usually just lose control of the board and are always behind till you just lose as Hunter.

Only ways to win as hunter is for the mage to draw really terribly early, or for you to get some really awesome RNG via Ram Wrangler or something.

Got hunter twice, didn't come close to winning either game. Worst part is I got the win 5 games in tavern brawl quest. How hard is it to balance 2 decks vs each other?

You need to aggressively mulligain as hunter. The worst is when you are jousting and you have all your 7 drops in hand.

tbh There is some silly jousting anti-synergy with King Elekk that I didn't think about before this brawl.

Yeah the more I play the more ****ty this Hunter deck becomes.

I know control Hunter is supposed to be a thing, but the real control Hunter deck will look nothing like this malformed piece of **** premade deck we have this week. It's just a random assortment of Joust cards and new Hunter cards.

Nexus champ is probably terrible, but it's still really ****ing fun to play. So far I've played 8 games and I'm 7-0 with mage and 0-1 with hunter.

Just overdrew with Rhonin, lol, oops. Still got lethal off the missles tho. Best legendary in TGT imo.

In both mage games my opponent has lost jousts. One of them, I think, lost him the game (not getting charge on warhorse). Given you can't depend on such imbalanced decks on ladder (imagine queuing into control warrior), I just can't see joust being viable at all.

I finally cleared my 5 win tavern brawl quest. It got to the point where I would just concede if I got hunter. I went 5-0 with mage and 0-3 w/ hunter in games where I tried. Never again.
