3 games, drew Nef all 3, 3 ridiculously easy wins.

I'm loving this, obv Nef is quite a lot better but not unwinnable with Rag at all.

This is fun. Hadn't really played much last handful of weeks and this got me back into it. Game really needed a quick but fun way to goof around and this fits the bill.

OK played 10 brawls, 6-1 Nef 1-3 Rag.

My favorite loss to Nef was - 3 cost dragon guy + technician + consort + hero power = echo + technician + consort, that was a fair turn.

got rag both times, should have won the first but he top-powered a frost nova then easily won the second

This is one area where SolForge was clearly ahead of the game over Hearthstone. They have had special Weekend Warrior events for a long time, and most of them are deck-construction-rule-breaking formats: one 'color' only, any 'color', 20 card decks, unlimited copies, highlander, etc. (They also have limited formats, with similar normalcy-breaking changes during said WW events.) In SolForge's examples, the change in the format always has had the effect of rewarding those who adapt strategically the best, whereas in Hearthstone, they seem to be going for fun/splashy/RNG over strategy. As usual.

I am having a lot of fun with this. Both Nef and Rag are fun and have their own strategies to figure out.

Got Rag first time, should have won but the damn minion that cranks out legendaries gave me the one that turns you into Rag w 8 health when he dies. That sealed it when he top decked perfect on his last turn.

Undefeated as Rag.

OK, I only got Rag once.

And he disconnected.

Despite being way ahead of me.

Still counts.

It's fun. Nef is OP obviously but a nice changeup from the usual HS.

Since they said wins count towards quests, we're going to get brawls that are a little less op in the future. (Maybe a no spells+weapons week) But this one is fun to play.

It's easy to beat Nef with Rag. Just get rid of your weapon fast, mulligan hard for taunts and the 6/3 +6 guy, hold him off until you can get your giants out there. Easy game imo.

Ran 5-1 with first 6 rands of Rag

Nef has no removal or taunt and usually runs out of cards (except spells ldo) by turn 7 or so

It's pretty easy to use his weakness against him

Yes, very easy. My enemy had Chrommagus on turn 3 and played lay on hands the same turn. Maybe you are just getting lucky, I've gotten ****ed repeatedly by god draws.

+1

Nefarion hits hard and fast, but rags 'do 8 damage lol' will catch you up as the game goes on. Just try to not die before turn 6.

My one game as Nef had him on 15 hp on turn 4 with me having around 35 damage on board, he lava bursted me lol (with that said I'm 2-1 with rag)

You guys are absolutely trolling. The game is often 8 types of over by then turn 6.

Which can be played a turn after the 4 mana 7/7?

Forget about what I said before. Nef is not OP but he is the favorite. You need good RNG as Rag (not only the hero power RNG, but you need your opponent to not draw super good and you need yourself not to draw super bad), but once you know that Rag is a control deck then it is definitely doable. Bravo Blizzard, this mode is a lot of fun.

Tips:
Use your hero power liberally early and save cards. Nef can't easily handle those 1 health Magma ragers so you can take out a 7/7 with your face and a Magma rager. You also want to lose health so you can play the Molten Giants and that 20/20 guy.
If you have stabilized the board and have your 8 damage hero power then hope for good RNG with it and grind him down.
And yes sometimes Nef will just draw super good or get a 0 mana twisting nether or get that 4/12 out and you can't answer it and there's just nothing you can do. GG and move on to the next match.

Nef is by far the more fun character b/c all the rng is on his side. As rag you have a much more passive role and you're mostly hoping nef draws bad spells and minions.

I also like the fact that these are for a limited time so as soon as everyone figures out the strategies and the matches get boring, they change it up.

Got Rag and won my first game, but then my opponent did make all spells cost 0 when I had two gain 4 armour draw 2 cards on about the third turn.

Not sure about it it's OK but not as rewarding as constructed or the arena not knowing whats in your deck takes away a lot of the strategy.

Are they going to start charging for this? making a load of new cards each week seams like a big commitment for Blizzard.
