Here we are friends, the pinnacle of Hearthstone. Do not delude yourselves. This is the best it's ever going to get. This singular moment, this singular post. This is the best content release since vanilla. Indubitably, the anticipation is even better than the actual release.

Lets embrace the current mood and harness the hysteria for a riotous quarterly tourney. I thought about capping it at 32 participants but, once again, this is going to be the peak of HS. All comers are welcome. No cap. (Except for ddubois and mephisto - you a-holes were in the same group and both quit DURING the group stage in my last tourney. You can write a formal 50 word essay about how Kirby's mom is a nice lady if you want back in. A haiku is also acceptable).

The format will be the same as the last one I ran with one exception. The group stage will be best of 7. This is because I want more matches, more casting, more experimentation, more RANDOM TERROR, less ****ing face shamans. (more face-****ing shamans is ok).

Here are the rules for the uninitiated:
-CONQUEST FORMAT - Each player is aware of which classes his or her opponent brought. Then, both players queue into the first game with a class of their choosing. Whichever player wins must then switch to a different class for the next game. Once a player wins with a class, it cannot be played again within that best of (seven, nine, 27, etc) match. The loser can choose to either stay with the same deck, or switch to one of his other decks. Once a player wins with all of his or her classes, that player wins the match.
-Games will be played in STANDARD format. We may go wild another time.
-Group stage will be best of 7.
-After the group stage the tourney will move to single-elimination format.
-First round of single elimination will be best of 7.
-Subsequent rounds will be best of 9 until a winner is crowned.
-Special bulletin for special people - you bring 4 decks to a Bo7 and 5 decks to a Bo9.
-Special bulletin part deux - you can only bring 1 deck of a class to a match

Later rounds TBD but we will be done by 5/31 at the latest. I'm only doing this because I may have to be a bit unorthodox if we have more than 32.

WARNING
Bobbo was really lenient with deadlines. I'm not. I'll just advance who I like more/who has a prettier avatar/not kirby every time. If you don't want to actually set aside the massive time investment of 1.5-4 hrs over the course of a month, then don't sign up.
