Dropped both Master of Evolutions. Too often they couldnt be played or were a win more card. Threw in a lava burst and second lightning storm to replace.

Hot take is that MR is weak against zoo, reno lock and 40/60 underdog to cthun druid. Other than that, solid. I grinded it up to r1 today. Prob will make a push for legend with it.

Couldnt find room for Hallazeal? Seems like if youre running Maly, Halazeal should fit in nicely somewhere.

Looks like a really fun deck though

Original list had Hellazeal but it didn't do anything on most of the games I played it. It was just an expensive 4/6.

Far Sight being good is something I wasn't expecting but it has been pretty great so far in my testing.

Why the hammer over doomhammer? To match up against higher statted minions?

Doomhammer is only better in aggro shaman imo. Much easier to take out higher health minions, doesnt get completely rekt by harrison/ooze, less damage to your own face. Especially true if youre not playing rockbitter.

Correct, the hammer is used to face tank a lot, the fact that it adds to the board after it gets used helps a bunch too.

You're gonna get rekt by ooze and harrison no matter what weapon is equipped short of cursed blade.

I think there is equally valid reasons to run either. Doomhammer is good for clearing off more minions over time. Twilight is good for bigger minions.

Like if the meta settled on a ton of zoo, I would prefer the doomhammer in midrange over twilight.

Lolwat? Losing 6 charges of doomhammer after overloading is much worse than losing a charge on twilight and spawning a 4/2. Give me a break.

Give yourself a break.

Losing a weapon rekts you no matter what weapon you have equipped, and considering you have 2-4 cards in your deck to deal with overload, and shamans minions are putting in a lot of work it isn't that big of a deal anymore.

If doomhammer gets harrisoned, you lose the game. Twilight gets harrisoned, opponent draws 1 and you get a minion that can kill harrison.

If there is a ton of zoo, sure, run doomhammer, but in a slow meta, twilight will always be better.

Maybe I'm just running bad but feels like face is poor against C'thun. I keep running into priests and druids who curve perfectly and I'm drawing argent squires and flame jugglers on t6-7. The old gods are punishing me for playing cancer.

MoE seems amazing as expected, you just need to be running him in the right list. He has no place in face lists.

I didnt think it was even that good in MR, tbh. What kind of list are you running that is letting you take advantage?

I have been ooze'd and won games since the expansion. The 5/5 taunt guy and 7/7 have made shaman stronk to the point that the weapons aren't even mandatory. Kolento and someone else (can't remember at this time) had lists without either weapon and winning with shaman with minion strength alone yesterday.

I agree with Twilight hammer leaving behind a body is better tho. Just been seeing plenty of zoo. Hence why I asked.

Haven't refined a list but Nerub Prophet into MoE was slaying people on Tuesday. And I've played against MoE enough to see it dunk me all over the place so idk what everyone else is thinking.

Readded Helazeal and cut the Earth Elmental, seems to have greatly improved the Cthun Druid match a lot

Edit: Up to rank 1, gonna push for legend either tonight or tomorrow. Deck is really strong right now.

I'm playing Xixo's list atm. It's pretty good. Though I had to switch out to two lightning storms because all the zoos.

Most importantly, Shaman is showing the capability to climb early in the season, which is good to see.

Have the elephants been kind to you guys this expansion?

I took an evolve/bloodlust/yogg deck and have been playing some fun games down around rank 20.

On ladder I see the super face deck is very strong, midrange seems viable and decent but not wildly played, and then a quasi faster midrange pure evolve token deck that seems amazingly snowbally and pretty good.

Only version I don't see at all and it's not working is the pure control shaman w/ the healing legendary
