So far feels reasonably good. I imagine with Fireguards it would be even better. Tempting to up Lightning Storm to 2x, but maybe the Overload(2) is too constricting?

I don't think overload on LS makes or breaks games. I play Kolento's cancer shaman and am overloaded constantly.

Might give it a test. I could also probably be utilizing Scarabs better. I think I probably play them too early when I don't "need" a card. Likely better to wait until I need an answer to something.

Overload is much much much more crippling in Midrange than cancer because you don't have all the cheap **** to vomit out or the Lava Shock to unlock.

That said LS is a key card in many matchups, so depending on what you are seeing 2 can be essential, but maybe with Scarab's you don't need to since you can pull them from that.

Well, with midrange, your minions have a better survival rate than cancer. So your LS's into 2 overload shouldn't have too big of an effect if you do some planning.

Also LOL at thinking Feral Spirit is even close to Belcher. 3 attack takes out so much more (Plus the 5 health allowing it to trade for things like, oh, say a Shredder, and still live?), in this meta, and all an opponent has to to is play a 3/4 on 3 mana to counter your FS. FS is good to block combo druid or hide your early game behind, that's all.
I really like the first deck, Nofear. Been playing it since your post and it's great. More often than not Thunder Bluff Valiant is MVP -- I love that card. It iss by far the best success I've had vs. most control decks... in particular it crushes control warrior it seems.

Weakness so far is usually turn 4... not many four drops. But I really like the deck.

Yeah, lack of 4 drops can sometimes hurt, but usually you're always overloaded on turn 4/5, so I don't find it too often when I have to float mana due to not having a 4 drop.

Just took it from rank 20 to 5 in the past two days, so it can at least get to the second grind. But yeah, I'd say it's probably ~70%+ against Warrior, Druid, and Priest, ~60% against Rouge, control/MR Paladin and face Shaman, coinflip against secret Paladin and face Hunter, ~45-40% against Murloc Paladin, Face Paladin, and Tempo Mage, and almost auto-concede if you see a warlock (30% or worse).

IMO, the problem with Bloodlust decks (and BL in general) is that it's just too often a completely dead card. Plus, the meta, currently, is too fast to take advantage of it, usually.

Yeah I agree. You draw both Bloodlusts early and your hand is dead and the struggle is real.

I feel like there has got to be a good Reno deck possible with shaman.

Add me gbebe#1630, would like to spec some games and talk some cards if you don't mind

I've thought about Reno, but every time I tried to put a deck together, I pretty much always came to the conclusion that other classes simply did Reno better and never bothered trying it out.

Can't wait for standard, though. The deck is only losing Crackle, Chow, and Belcher. Likely to be replaced by Hallazeal and two other cards from the xpac.

Hallazeal, if released as is, is going to be so ridiculously OP, that Shaman will prob be tier 1 quite quickly, imo.

Reno + Hallazeal + Healing Wave, etc might be a pretty solid control deck when the xpac drops. Will def be something to try, I think. Hallazeal is going to be a 100% craft d1, if I don't open it in a pack.

The problem with reno, right now, imo, is that a majority of shaman class cards are too weak to get away with only 1 copy per card, and the hero power doesn't have the capability to change tempo without them.

On another note, I dropped a Feral Spirit for an Earth Shock. Confirmed was a good idea. Saved me so many times as I climbed to rank 3 today.

And 100% serious that it's going to get used, easily, at at least 2-3 mana quite often. Will almost certainly be 0 mana if drawn in the late game.

Like, 2 copies will be going into any MRS deck, immediately.
