Cutpurse works well with gadgetzan. It doesnt have a role in oil rogue.

It would be a legit great card (and relative to ****ing paladin) "fair" if it was 2/3

Regarding the bolded, what about as a replacement for Earthen Ring Farseer? Is the 3/3 with 3 healing really that important?

The 3/3 can take down 2/3s, can spot heal face vs aggro or real good on a teacher or loatheb etc after minion combat.

The 2/2 trades down and the coin is typically less useful if you're not running auctioneers.

Basically if they just made the cutpurse a 2/3 or a 3/2 it would have competitive stats but the only minions that can be played as 2/2s are when they are sick. (ie. minibot!)

Trying a new Oil variant that I'm enjoying so far. Here's the list (I don't have Edwin or Thalnos):

I've never really messed with Shadowstep and wanted to try it out. Provides a ton of utility with Valiant/SI:7/Farseer/Healbot. Could use it on Drake if needed too, I suppose. Idk if it's as good as a standard Oil list but it's been a lot of fun so far.

If you're using shadowstep with that kind of list you need some more charge minions and perhaps swapping out some stuff for cold bloods. Though not sure what you could swap for cold bloods.

Been having a lot of fun with this raptor rogue deck. Lots of burst damage when needed and pretty good matchup vs secret pally (fan of knives for muster, sap for challenger or tyrion)

The inspiration came from a more Miracle-esque list with Arcane Golems, but I wanted to try it in Oil with the intent of using it with Valiant/SI:7 for additional board control. It at least makes for some fun turns so I'm gonna keep testing it for now

Still tweaking this list. Its strong and fun as is, but not sure if its built completely right yet. You have to play aggressively with this deck. Face damage matters a lot.

Alright boys, what's everyone working with? Seems like maybe the class isn't as ****ed as we all thought based on early impressions? I've seen people report success with Deathrattle, Miracle and C'Thun archetypes. Obv thinks are very likely to change when the meta settles, but maybe there's hope. Have been tempted to craft Xaril and I think I'm gonna pull the trigger today.

To those of you who are somehow managing to keep your rogues alive until t10: How are you managing to keep your rogues alive until t10? I rolled what I thought was a pretty strong Yogg deck and it just gets crushed 7 games out of 8. No healing at all is really ****ing hurting this class imo.

Suggestions for replacing the rogue legendary 4 drop that gives the toxins? I feel like it's the only real tempo leak in the list I'm using for miracle. Granted there is a net positive to having him. Just looking for ideas.

i forget if it was dog or mryagut but they were saying how xaril was to slow for miracle and have/would replace with shiv

not sure if i agree but they know how to rouge pretty well

I replaced it wit Shiv to try it out. Seems okay with the card recycle but I think I ran good with having spell power on the board last night. I might even look to put in either an Eerie Statue, Stormwind Knight, or a Perdition's Blade.

I feel like having 4 hp on things is a real detriment. Maybe a Burgle?

Maybe it's genius and you just don't know it

*edit* oops. I thought text said "only friendly minion".

I guess that makes more sense as to why it has literally never been played ever (outside of maybe w/e deck with argus/sunfury)
