Solemn vigil is still better.

Solemn Vigil is a beast of a card in a control/midrange build. However, it is less valuable in an aggro oriented variant as you don't want to trade away your board as much (it basically would only gain you value with a consecration turn).

Or if you have to attack into a taunt minion

I just had the funniest game a few minutes ago. I had the board pretty locked down against a priest and he popped my shredder into a Doomsayer. I still won but my eyes got big af.

Made a pally deck with eadric. Can post full decklist but its promising - fatigue pally. It counters aggro, has coldlight/murloc synergy, and is running the usual clears. So far so good, deathlording their threats and forcing a full board is when eadric has shined

Funny enough this deck started as total anti aggro but blossomed into fatigue when i realized i had minor mutloc power. Lol.

haha sounds intriguing! I want to find a true home for Eadric so looking forward to seeing that.

I made an early season deck that farms aggro as well as slightly increase your % chance of winning more jousts. I basically took out one chow for a Piloted Sky Golem (late game joust activator for Tuskar+Sticky late game against control/aoe) and substituted Knife Jugglers for Flame Jugglers.

I wanted to take out one chow without sacrificing the power that chow brings of establishing early board control, and that's what flame juggler does. Yeah, there is rng with it, but testing it, the pros seem to outweigh the cons since it has a decent body to trade with most aggro early drops. Essentially, Flame Juggler allows you to get to your mid game of murloc knights and shredders and maintain board control from that point forward. I'll admit, that flame juggler does not have the same comeback mechanics that knife juggler does, but that's not the goal of this deck.

It's nice having coghammer and defender of argus as well to lock down against aggro pressure, as this list doesn't run Belchers with Tuskarrs now being included, and with two of them, you're likely to draw it by turn five, and now with one less early drop (chow) that most lists include, it activates slightly more than most lists allow for.

Test it out and let me know how it works for you!

I wasn't paying attention with Wolfrider. Replaced that with a second Argent Horserider. I don't feel like running an Arcane Golem in a deck bc I don't want to invite big minions or combos a turn earlier since I'm big dicking it without an equality. Though I understand I probably should run it.

Any suggestions for making it more ebola for climbing ladder?

I posted it in the TGT decks thread, but I figured I'd post it here too.

It's just good, powerful, and easy to play. Argent horserider is so good in this deck, and I think this is as optimized I can get it for now.

Have fun climbing and getting to legend this season before people truly figure how to play against it.

I would take out Zombie Chows and replace them with Leper Gnomes. You're deck is pretty aggro with enough cards that you can get board control. No need to give your opponent 10hp.

I put Murloc Knight in my Secretdin deck and it works better than I thought it would.

So there are some arguments for some of the 1 drop choices, and they are valid depending on the win condition of the deck.

I think there are potential downsides to all of them, but after some playtesting, I just feel that zombie chow does exactly what I want it to do, and that's help advance the board state right from the get-go. It trades well with one and two drops, it is an amazing coghammer target, and it is a bit of a mind game play with your opponent (as they often will think you are a standard midrange pally, and play accordingly...with the potential effect of you getting more value in Divine Favor turns). Basically, I want to establish a solid, sticky board by turn 6 and just win. And chow aids in that goal.

Leper Gnome does get that deathrattle damage, but dies easily...it is a better late game top deck than chow. But overall, you can argue that with avenge and noble sacrifice, you can get just as much damage in with your chow as well as protect your early board.

SecretKeeper is ironically less good in this secret deck imo...Like, you want to get the most value out of your Mysterious Challenger, thus, in a perfect hand you don't want to see any secrets early; so it becomes awkward keeping SecretKeeper turn one but mulliganing your secrets with the thought, "well if I draw secrets at least it's not as bad"...Some would then argue, "Well, Kreme, just put more secrets in your deck!" but then I cut cards that help me establish that Sticky-board state. I'd rather just put chow in, mulligan for it, and feel at peace mulliganing all my secrets.

Zombies just go down way in value if they're not in your hand at the start.

My favorite 1 Drop is actually Argent Squire with paladin. Either people spend too much resources or a turn to kill it or they ignore it. I've even managed to get BGH'd on turn 5.

I've won 6 in a row with this deck. It snowballs opponents so hard. I keep getting the BOK and Ooze combo too.

Has anyone tried an actual murloc paladin deck? Seems like it should be tons of fun, especially with the murloc knight card. Flood the board with dudes, run secrets, divine favor. I've been wanting to try it for a while.

I was inspired by this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYyzsd_JE5s
