I also think Harrison is a must with so many warriors. At least thats been my experience lately in ladder, haven't played much but when i do #1 opponent is still patron

The only card that's been spoiled for Paladin so far seems to be the 3-mana 3/3 Inspire: Summon a SHR

I feel like unfortunately that's a card that is tailored for aggro paladin concepts and just doesn't work that well in Midrange. The 4-slot in Midrange is so overstuffed already that it's basically impossible to fit another card in there. So there's almost no chance you want to use your 4-drop to use your Hero Power. For Aggro Paladin though, something like 1-drop >> Minibot >> New Card >> Juggler + Hero Power for 2 juggles seems pretty strong.

Are you sure that's a real card? Seems like just a fake korean card

It's on HearthPwn--it's basically imp gang boss for neutral but works best with paladin..

Meh on Harrison...he's awesome when he hits...but I want more consistent card draw. and I feel that harrison doesn't find enough value on ladder with so much warlock and mage on ladder as well. Plus, Double equality wins me way more matches against patron than Harrison ever has, and if I can draw into that piece of my deck, I'd rather give myself the best chance to do that without sacrificing my matches against the other classes.

I dunno, just my opinion....isn't acidic swamp ooze probably better? it's a lot faster as harrison often seems too slow (acidic has earlier tempo gain against hunter too)

Had a lot of fun over the last few days with that latest Midrange vigil deck, so thanks for that! Had barely touched ranked mode at all this month, but gone 18>7 since. Might make a run in August and see how far I can get before the new cards are released.

I've been playing with Bobbo's deck merged with the standard MR card set. Basically I just ditched MCT for Quartermaster, and an Equality for a Blessing of Kings. I really like KTZ in Paladin in any case. Only issue is I can't figure out if it's fine to drop him on an empty board or if I should try to get greedy. Usually try the latter, not sure it is a good idea.

Got caught up wrecking newbs in Tavern Brawl today with OP priest Will hit legend before end of season. Got two FULL days this weekend and a couple of random hours here and there the rest of the way.

Hope you enjoy!
Been playing a lot of this deck. 70% WR and up to rank 5 now.

It seems to really struggle (maybe it's just me, though) vs secret heavy decks like Echo Mage/Face Hunter. I've not had much value or use from Black Knight, so thinking about trading it out for Loatheb or Kezan Mystic? Will give it a shot anyway.

Both those choices are reasonable...Let me know how that swap goes! If secret classes are hurting you the most, I'd probably consider kezan first, then Loatheb.

Just played a really satisfying match at rank 5.

Playing vs some aggro mech paladin: after bad mulligan

T1 I skip, he coins mechwarper,

T2 I have nothing and play a guy. He plays another mechwarper, then shielded, shielded and runs 1st mech into my token.

T3 I muster, hit the second mechwarper with my face. He runs 1 shielded and 2/3 mech into 2 of my tokens, Other mechwarper and shielded into my face, then plays a secret and a guy.

T4 I face his untouched shielded, he has noble sacrifice. I run token into same shielded. Play consecration, kill all 6 minions and then get both vigils out for free. He snap concedes

The absolute dream, Kangal. Glad you are having some fun with this deck, and free sprints happen more often than you'd think.

btw legend seems unlikely, as I've had to stay late for work the last few days...and likely today too

I've been able to log on for some breaks to clear quests w/ a couple rank matches...but unfortunately, I'm not sure I'll have the time to hit legend this season. welp...inspire decks here we come

Went back to the basics this month. Promised myself that I would just play one deck that I'm good at until I hit legend since TGT is coming out soon anyway. I was pretty sad I missed legend by one win last season, and promised myself I'm not going to miss that opportunity this month.

I've had my best winrate ever too, which is funny...don't fix what's not broken! Played some today and I'm at Rank 5, 5 stars without putting in any long sessions (I haven't even played since Wednesday too).

I have only 4 losses this month, which is absolutely crazy to me. I've definitely been on the good side of variance, but I've also become more and more of an expert with midrange pally.

One thing that is different in this deck is that it runs two silences...which has been absolutely amazing for this meta. I used to run 2 chows, one owl, but I decided to switch that up. The tempo you get from silencing mad scientists, creepers, eggs, wyrms, wakers, buffed minibots, taunts to push lethal, etc...this can't be understated. It also helps on turn ten playing lay on hands while silencing a threat...the owl has just saved my a$$ so much that I think running two is right.

I've also been watching a lot of Xzirez's and Strifecro's VODS on their Midrange Pally play. They both feel two quartermasters is right, and I think I agree with them...unless your pally deck leans more to control with bigger threats...otherwise, midrange should run double quartermaster. And after watching so much of their games, I think most people make a ton of mistakes with not getting value with QM...thinking a few turns ahead, utilizing deathrattle/divine shields effectively, coupled with Hero powering fairly often...leads to baiting out AOE and getting value out of QM.

Ragnaros is something that isn't standard in midrange pally. But I love him, and I know how to manipulate the board so I have a Plan A and Plan B target most of the time...it's also unexpected burst...which Midrange pally often lacks. Having a BGH target post Boom is nice; just like having sylvanas and Tirion give pally multiple silence targets.

I also decided to run Loatheb instead of Harrison. There isn't enough GP Warrior and Rogue on Ladder to justify running it, and the other matchups are already favored for me. I've played enough GP warrior too to understand my win condition is more about bursting them down before their turn 7/8 combo...and QM does that...Also, Loatheb is almost always good, and acts as a stall mechanic to protect my board as I wait to draw into QM...He's just so good.

Anyway, try pally right now. I think it's a great class right now to grind with before TGT comes out and shakes things up. The fact aggro pally is so rampant right now too, makes midrange pally that much stronger...people mulligan and play against you early as if they are queued against face pally...so just one more thing you got going for you.

I've been playing a deck like that but I only have 1 quartermaster and no sylvannas and I've been getting crushed by hunters. Both face and midrange. I win maybe 1 out of 5 games. How do you beat hunters with that deck? I have trouble applying pressure on them because they keep applying more and muster for battle always seems to get punished by UTH.

2 quartermasters is a must for the play style I like in midrange, synth. And I'd consider crafting sylvanas even with TGT coming out. She's just that good and can be played in multiple deck archetypes.

Depending on how your deck looks can determine how you play against hunters...as you can see from my list, I have a decent amount of early game, taunt and heal. So basically you're trying to control the board until the late game, where your deck shines.

It's often right to use your weapons to go face and make your trades with your minions. Quartermaster can allow you to race if the opportunity presents itself. But if you only run one, you can't count on that as a win condition.

Muster for battle is better to be played on curve since turn 5 unleash plus knife is the worst.

It's fine and encouraged to silence mad scientists and creepers...proc traps before weapons are equipped whenever possible. Keep beasts clear...

That's the best I can do for you via text. If you'd like me to spectate your games too, I'd be happy to help.

I've been running the 2x Chow/2x Vigil Paladin for a while and I fist pump whenever I queue into a Hunter.

Yeah I need to craft a Sylvannas and 2nd quartermaster but I find that I just can't keep up with the pressure. I don't have a healbot in my deck though. I should probably put that in.

I love Vigil a lot. What does the rest of your deck look like? You still running Rag? No QM's?
