The RNG gods of Hearthstone are telling me to play N'Zoth Paladin (of the 4 legendaries I've opened from Old Gods, two of them are N'Zoth and Ragnaros Lightlord. Plus, I have 2 of the epic from this set).

Every list I've seen seems to require Cairne, so it looks like I'll be crafting that. I'm wondering about the other legendary I should craft. Some lists run the other Ragnaros, some run Justicar. Which is better in this deck? (I already have Sylvanas and Tirion).

Some sample decks from Dreamhack:

http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/53689...ck-austin-2016 (running Justicar)

http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/53614...ck-austin-2016 (running the original Ragnaros)

http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/53508...ck-austin-2016 (running both Justicar and Ragnaros and adding in Eadric the Pure).

Also, none of these decks run nearly as much card draw as the murloc pally decks used to run. Not sure how that works out, because it often seems like I need all the card draw I can get in murloc pally.

Why does that deck play N'Zoth at all?

Getting 2 Tirion's is pretty much game over , add in Cairne and Sylvannas even better.

Basically it can grind out with clears/heals like no other class can via doomsayer and equality combos and heal a ton and then just drop a N'zoth that brings back some crazy dudes that people can deal with once maybe, but not twice.

Couldn't get Murloc Paladin to work ;-(

Solemn Vigil seems unplayable. It's only cheaper than Arcane Intellect if you have equality combo, and in half a dozen games, that's never happened to me. I lose every game to aggro with my board clear and that card in my hand.

Maybe if I used the Doomsayer version instead of the Harvest Golem version.

Ya doomsayer works great with solemn vigil. Turn 2 he plays a minion you play doomsayer. Turn 3 he passes both die and you cast solemn vigil for 3.

WEAPONS N'ZOTH

Been awhile since I've posted, but I've been busy with the hearthstone podcast as well as a hearthstone league that I recently finished participating in. I should have more free time to be more active here.

Anyway, I hit legend last month with mid/aggro shaman and control paladin (currently rank 3 this month). This was the N'zoth pally I settled on...some will look at rallying blade and say to themselves, "where's the divine shield synergy???" and while that is a valid question, I play weapons because they are op and not necessarily for their battlecry/effect.

The thing with Control pally is you want to mitigate your opponents early game as much as possible with doomsayer and rallying blade...because your mid to late game is better than everyone elses...and since the healing in this deck is OP af, you can afford to face tank damage along the way and stabilize later with forbidden healing/ragnaros. Greenskin is there to maximize your weapon power as well as add to the synergy created with keeper of uldaman (i.e. rallying blade on three, opponent plays flamewreathed faceless on 4, uldaman clear, buff weapon to a 4/2 with Greesnkin on 4 PogChamp)

Enjoy!

Weapons N'Zoth Version 2

In case you all are looking for a little more punch, and less tech...I also run this version of Weapons N'Zoth Pally. Has both Ragnaros' instead of eadric, and runs an extra acolyte over Harrison...both versions are fine, although this is a bit more proactive and forces removal from your opponent with Firelord as you gear into N'Zoth turn. It's also worth noting that Ragnaros Firelord helps more in the Freeze Mage/Rogue meta

(Read above for further explanation in original version)

Is Elise working out for you? I feel like N'zoth crushses control matchup anyway (except vs Priest).

Elise helps in fatigue matches against priest who entomb your relevant deathrattle minions. It's also a safety net against good control warriors with double brawl. I also like having a 4 drop minion with decent health instead of relying solely on uldamans/consecrations/truesilvers/2 drop hero power etc on turn 4. it does matter in situations such as when you play it with Uldaman in hand the prior turn then play Uldaman the following turn to get value trades with Elise (slightly worse yeti that already synergizes with Uldaman with a Battlecry that is relevant in fatigue)

Elise also gives you the freedom to not feel like you need to get max value out of N'zoth. There are situations you need to play N'zoth to contest the board even if you only have one deathrattle minion gone. Then when you get to the super late game with dead cards (i.e. Vigils, acolytes, etc.) you change them to legendaries

Those are a few reasons I like the card. However, I'm by no means saying the card is irreplaceable in this list

...most fun deck i have played in ages:

Hotform seems to have found a control paladin recipe that really works out well. He played it on stream for the last week or so. Despite beeing greedy as ****, it is a good deck to ladder. I expermineted with N'zoth Pala when standard was released, but this list feels just stronger. So if you are bored, give it a try.

I prefer the lightlord into firelord play:
"LIFE INSECT " + "DIE INSECT"

my take on a prince2 deck:

It is by no means refined, but my results are great so far. Good synergy overall and pretty consistent.
Also it is a lot of fun to play, as you get to play some underused cards. If you are bored, give it a try...
