It has been 3 months. It is time to crown a new McChampion. No Kirby rules forever. Bobbo's fall tourney seems to have died off. I cannot blame him or anyone involved. The logistics of getting 6 people online at the same time are nigh impossible.
I really liked the thread for tourney modifiers thread. I will, unfortunately, ignore all suggestions. The format of this tourney is that all cards are available. Same rules as in August. First Round is Bo5 conquest. The rest follows suit. I'm not lazy enough to create this thread and run this thing, but I am too lazy to look up when things go from Bo5 to Bo7 and Bo9. Same as last time.
I will be overwriting the August Spreadsheet for simplicity, so if you have been jizzing over what could have been, plz ctrl-s and save locally.
Going to cap this thing at 32 (we had 31 in August). I will cross post this in the accursed POG forum, so don't wait till the last minute to sign up [and then back out (looking at only dkgo here - avenge GT budday)].
Timeline follows below. Any delays or violations are subject to the fair yet draconian decision of your commissioner.
Oct 20-31: signups
Nov1-10: group stage
Nov11-14: sweet 16
Nov15-18: elite 8
Nov19-22: final 4
Nov23-Dec5: Supremus Finals
10 days for the group stages is generous. Four days per each elimination rounds is fair. I'd like to see the Supremus Finalus before Thanksgiving but I'm going to be realistic with travel schedules and imagined excuses.
Come one, come all, come have fun. Bring vengeance for the Boiling Oats, FGATORS, and Modus (sorry Modus for August) regions because Kirby can't win every time right? Right?
Further specifics will be posted as the thread moves on. Best of luck to everyone, and I'm sure all will have a good time!
A possibility of Bo9/conquest means you need to have decks prepared across 5 different classes, right?
Correct. For the group stage Bo5 you only need to bring 3 decks. (3 different classes)

Yes. Correct.
You may also change your decks between group stages matches if you please, but you cannot change your deck DURING a match.
In summary, once you engage an opponent in a series/match, you're locked in. Any time you're in between a series/match you can change your decks as you please.

Tentatively in. Not familiar with tournament structure, though. Still f2p so fielding decks for all 5 classes might be tricky for me. At any point am I forced to change decks?

You aren't forced to change decks ever.
Here is an explanation of the conquest format:
All matches will be best-of-5. The first player to win 3 games within the match is considered the winner of the match and advances.
A player must win one game with each of his three decks to win the match.
When a player wins a game, the deck used by the winning player cannot be used for the remainder of the match.
The losing player can keep the same deck used or switch to a different one of their choice.
Players will be told what classes their opponent has available, but they won’t know which class is picked until both players have picked.

This is a terribly confusing explanation imo.
Yes, you are forced to change your deck from one class to another (from the 3,4,5 depending on how far you get in the tournament) after each game win.
So you're playing me Rd 1.
I win game 1. I have to change the deck I'm using to a different deck (you'll know which 3 classes I chose).
I win game 2. I have to change my deck to my 3rd deck now
You win game 3. Now I have to play my 3rd deck still (i have no more options) and you have to play one of your other two decks.
