What would you suggest to replace Sylvanas, if you don't have her?

what do you have? Toshley for example would do more in that deck than sylvanas imo (I don't have toshley). Since it has no card draw, something like piloted sky golem could be strong as well since it's a 2 in 1. I'd probably just add like a mech yeti though cuz it really doesn't have a lot of 4 drops. In fact, I might add 2 and drop the kezan

I have BRM and Naxx, but no other legendaries of note outside of Boom.

I tried KelThuzad in place of Sylvanas and I think it's too expensive. I saw one suggestion of Sunwalker for Sylvanas, but I don't think it's appropriate either. Another site says Blizzard as an additional AoE.

try thaurissan and/or a kirin tor mage

Sunwalker is the best neutral non-legendary 6 drop. It would also troll the hell out of people as your flamewalker just sits behind it spewing pain on everyone. TBK isn't seen much these days and blood knight is virtually nonexistent.

Sylvanas is the next legendary you should craft. She's the clear #2 after Boom. DE all your shaman cards and craft her today

I'm not a big fan of kirin tor mage because you are going to be mulliganing your secrets away and ideally proccing them with mad scientist.

Emperor T is also ok.

I've been running an almost identical deck with an Arcane Missiles instead of Kezan Mystic and Duplicate instead of Counterspell.

I feel like the missiles help against face hunter and mech mage about as much as Kezan ends up doing so, but are also useful in other match-ups. Midgame with a flamewalker out they end up being a 1 mana, 5 damage spell. Not bad. Even more with drakes.

Duplicate helps to compensate for the lack of card draw by netting you one card. I find that you can usually control what gets duplicated pretty easily in order to maximize value from it.

Anyone good with freeze Mage? Would love to spectate a few games

Im probably not good but I played it up to 4 today. 8-3ish with all the losses to lolwarriors

using this list. only change I'd think about is second loot hoarder for the healbot

Ive been running that -Healbot +Loothoarder and -Blizzard +flamestrike (as a grim patron counter, not sure if its better in general tho)

I took the healbot out of mine. It was a dead card too often and I find that in the matchups where I need the healing I don't need to use alexstrasza offensively so she's enough healing.

I also like having one explosive sheep.

For some reason I thought Malygos was a thing - some tech freeze mage include in the post-Emperor world that let you beat Warrior - so I crafted one. Oops.

Any other freeze players? I'm trying a frostbolt and ice lance less build I came up with that has been really effective. Replaced them with 2x mirror images, another novice engineer, and a CoC. Only very rarely do I miss the extra burn - obviously a ton more control and I have enough antonidas fuel to put them away.

Its one less win condition but in my experience I lose mostly because I can't control the board before drawing enough cards and sitting there with a hand full of frostbolts and lances is awful. Does much better against face hunter which I hate losing to and almost impossible to lose to zoo which is most of the ladder now. Obviously warrior is almost an auto-concede but thats the way it goes.

~10 at the moment. Have about 90 games on it. Its sheepless so not sure if thats better or worse, haven't played much with sheep builds. I'll post it later if there's interest.

I've played a decent amount of freeze mage. I cant imagine not using frost bolt and ice lance. Against aggro like face hunter/zoo/mech mage u use the bolts early just to survive and vs control you need the spells for burst. Also really good for feeding antonius fire balls. I feel like my build has more then enough card draw without novice. I guess mirror image would feed antonius fire balls well. I dont run any poly or cone of cold in my builds.

Ahh yeah makes sense. I run 1 explosive sheep its pretty awesome vs aggro. 1 loot hoarder as well.

^ never understood that, I want the card right away most of the time, what does 1 damage do for you? The chance its going to make a difference is very low imo.

IDK I feel like its 4 cards that I don't get a ton of use out of and hate using for anything other than the combo. Maybe I should try the traditional one again but I was having lots of trouble with zoo and face hunter that is gone with my version.

Eh have to disagree but its probably minor. I find those situations pretty rare and more than once have played engineer to a crucial card in late game or arcane int or another engineer. Engineers get ignored a lot so at worst its another round and you can often use them to set up flamestrike or blizzard kills.

For fun I looked at stats and I'm at 25w 16L past few days so I might be on to something, dunno. Only 2 warriors which I don't win so maybe thats part of it.

There are no spare parts minions or Archmage. I don't have the latter and not sure if I should include former. Some people put loot hoarders and clockwork gnomes (as well as mechanical yetis) in their tempo mage decks.

The point of this deck is to establish a board presence early with mana wyrms, mirror images, sorcerer's apprentice, mad scientist, and use your spells for clear and then bring out the flamewakers for damage and the echo of medivhs for card draw.

Strifeco was crushing with that last week with Counterspell, Emporer, Rag, instead of Flamecannon, Echo, Flamestrike. He made it look so OP by drawing cheap minions at the start of every game, but when I tried the deck, I got wrecked. I was getting my ass handed to me by everything.
