I decided I would track stats once I got to Rank 5. Stopped tracking after it showed 4-8. Likely something around 6-16 atm (back to Rank 7.) Yeah I just start switching decks and being an idiot. I don't understand how it happens every time. I just don't learn. I was so confident in that Druid deck and then I started losing and I lost all confidence and changed everything!

I just felt that like, everyone in Rank 5 is so much better than Rank 10-6, and as soon as they saw the Imp Masters they knew what I was doing and killed it. And that's pretty much I lose. Maybe this deck just can't take me to Legend. Maybe no deck can. Maybe I'm a forever Rank 5 player who can only get there by running hot and grinding. Goddamn why the hell does this game just ruin you mentally?

Thats what happened to me with tempo mage. I crushed everything hit rank 3 and started playing pallys every game and dropped back down to 4-5ish. They completely ravage me. I'm actually in the process of building a pally deck because im sick of losing to it.

Now that ive played the pally side of this matchup i can see its not a hard counter if your running double CS and flamestrike. I ran 1 CS and 2 ME for 3 secrets most mages run the 4 secret version. I also didnt run flamestrike on my tempo mage.

If you run double CS as the mage it **** the pally hard. Unless the pally gets coin he has to use a good spell into your CS. I still think the matchup favors the pally but with 2 CS and flamestrike its close.

I put 2x Velen's Chosen and 2x Mind Blast in my priest and let me tell you, 100% surprise weapon. Nobody sees it, won a few games where they just let my one guy alive with VC and I had mind blast waiting in my hand. So pleased with it so far, went from rank 8 to 5 with it thus far.

What do you guys think of using Ooze in priest with 2x velen's chosen? Testing it in casual right now. Creating a 3/4 with spell power seems super strong and sometimes I don't have enough VC targets during the game.

A hobgoblin themed token priest deck sounds like a really good idea actually. Mine is more midrangy with auch + boom + cabal + sylv.

I put together a Hobgoblin priest as well. I ended up taking them out because Priest is so slow anyway that I was usually lucky to get a buff on a Northshire. Turn 5 Hobgoblin and Ooze is good but with the meta as aggro as it is, it's likely to get ignored and you're going to be working with 10 or less health by then. I have Mogushan Wardens and Lightspawns in there with Inner Fires and Divine Spirits. Sometimes you'll have an opening draw of Inner Fire, Dr. Boom, Power Word: Shield, and Divine Sprit. I did myself a favor and conceded when my opponent coined out Mechwarper.

It isn't all bad. Not great but not ineffective. It was nice having a Face hunter use a Leper Gnome, and a Wolfrider with an Abusive buff to have to clear a Mogushan Warden. I'm pretty sure I lived all the way to turn 9 that game. I am wondering that (like your screenshot) adding Holy Smites and possibly Thalanos would make the deck a little more resistant to getting run over by rush decks.

On an unrelated note, I have seen a resurgence in Zoo today after not seeing hardly any for the last month or so. The 4 I faced (2-2) either weren't running Doomguards or didn't draw them. Most of the Zooey stuff was the same but it looked like they subbed in Imp-losion for Doomguard.

Just played against a handlock at rank 3 that curiously decided to hellfire and kill himself with lethal on the board in order to avoid my flame trap and a draw.

Maybe I will make legend this month yet.

Unrelated, snake trap is so underrated. Everyone spazzes out around it. It's a mini-Sylvanas.

I'm seeing a decent amount of zoo's as well @3. They are all running doomguards ldo.

I am playing a tempo mage around 7 to 8 . Its a sea of face hunters. It feels like every other match. My deck is only 30 to 40 % vs hunters.

The meta is quite diverse @ rank 2. I don't feel like there is an overabundance of any one build in particular. I expect face hunter and midrange to fall off quite quickly after the new tempostorm meta report putting them both in tier 2. Strangely they have control warrior at tier1. It sucks dick against midrange pally and midrange druid, whom are also both tier1.

Control warr is a bitch for mech mage/hunter/rogue which are all good decks so it makes sense.

Deck is broken against Mage or Zoo, and sometimes Hunter, if you draw Chow, Cleric, Velen's early. I've been bouncing around Ranks 4-5 today with this which is really insane for me. Paladin is pretty tough but winnable. I can sometimes win those midrange or control matchups despite full well knowing that I make egregious errors by not fully knowing how Priest works. There are just tons of little intricacies like which minions you can target, what order to heal stuff, what to steal, etc that make it pretty challenging. But if you can handle it I think it's the most OP class in the game.

Gilbin Stalker looks like it would make a nice Velen's Chosen target as a turn 2 in to turn 3 play.

i thought the new tempostorm metareport was pretty bad.
