Running mechmage on EU and oilrogue on NA to start the season. Been seeing some aggressive Pally deck a lot at the start of the season with Blood Knights + Divine Favors. It seems pretty bad but an interesting thing to note.

Played a bit today. 30% of games were vs face hunter, 30% vs mech mage. safe to say people are leading off with the super cancer, which is to be expected. i suspect warrior and priest are really strong right now.

I tanked a bunch by playing badly by not paying attention just rushing through games to clear quests. Randomly ran into a huge amount of Shamans.

I was playing shaman today

To clear a quest tho. It felt like a really poor choice.

Yeah as much as I love playing it, not so good. And despite the terrible day so far I was 5-1 against Shaman.

It is super fun when a Mech Mage get's a Snowchugger and an Annoy-o-tron off his Piloted Shredder deathrattles! Especially playing rogue.

I just beat some Mech Druid on ladder with Face Hunter. I honestly feel so terrible about it man. It's just not fair. I don't deserve to be winning these games. I don't ever want to play Hunter again. I finally feel so cheap and scummy after all.

I want to win. I want to play something that dumps on these troll Mech Mages and Oil Rogues and Face Hunters. I just feel so terrible when I beat someone playing an honourable class like Druid or Paladin with Face Hunter or Facelock. I just don't know what to play anymore. None of my Druid decks feel like they can beat these Mages, but I'm over playing these cancerous decks. Golden Hunter and Golden Warlock... that's well over 1000 games of cancer I've contributed to the ladder. I don't use that word lightly, but that's what it was. Thousands of games just ruining people's lives who never deserved it.

Maybe I need to re-tech the Tree of Life Druid into something competitive, though it'd probably just become the ramp du jour. Maybe I'll try to take Loyan's Shaman as far as I can take it. Hell maybe I'll enchant Grom and learn Control Warrior mastery from the Rempel. I just don't know anymore.

think Im just going to go for lvl 60s this month. didnt play any ranked for the last two weeks or so last season since its just not any fun tryharding cancer vs cancer. will sandbag low ranks for a while

HAHA, Druid is one of the most dumb and easy to play classes there is, with many questionably over powered cards. Sometimes it feels like you are playing a different game, calling for nerfs to Shield Block and stuff like this.

I am seeing a ton of handlock on ladder, not really sure why. I guess they like losing the majority of their matches.

It's no control Priest, Warrior and HandLock but Druid is one of the more complex classes to play. Its about equal to combolock.

Have you never played it for a serious amount of time?

Anyway, looks like Hunters are back in force this season, I have been seeing way more than Mech Mage grinding up on EU in fact.

Um yeah, druid is my most played class in constructed followed by Shaman.

well druid has many faces. token play different from combo and ramp is an entirely different beast.
i agree that none of them are that complicated to play but they are far from autopilot decks.

I make fun of face hunter like everyone else, but I'm playing it now. It actually does have some decisions. Not many, mind you, but some.

Of course. There is a reason why Xixo can take so many aggro decks to top legend and others fail to even climb far. There are 0 decks that are complete auto pilot. Just some that are highly forgiving for making non optimal plays, some that have few hard decisions etc etc.

Zoo was a perfect example of the former since there are tons of little optimizations in placement, tapping, hitting before or after juggles and all that, but you could just not pay attention to any of that **** and just click things and go face a lot and do well with it.

Someone should do an experiment with face hunter and literally 100% point everything to the face and just use the most mana every turn and see how far they can get with it.

I'm climbing with Druid this month to get golden portrait + to get into contention for my first Legend season. The question I have is whether to use Chow's or not. And if I chow, do I double chow or 1x?

After getting kezan mysticked several games in a row, it is not a good time to be using secrets.

I played around with Druid quite a lot last season with the savj deck. I liked having one. Two felt like using too many slots to me. But then the meta now is a good bit faster than then so ymmv.

Seeing hunters at least 40% of my games on my climb.

^makes sense as now I'm seeing only Hunter or Warrior. Running Loyan's Shaman seems fine. Teched in a Kezan Mystic which seems to help more than hurt.

Just took a Control Warrior to fatigue in a FORTY **40** minute game. Seriously wtf. How can anyone enjoy playing the game like this? What a goddamn waste of time. How many hours do you have to degen no life this game to get to Legend as a Warrior? (sorry Rempel you're cool and get a free pass on this rant.) Like seriously. You gotta play 250 games to get to Legend and each game takes 1 hour. 250h/month? Insane. I can't believe there are people out there who do that.

The fuqqer conceded after I survived TWO Brawls, BGHed his Dr Boom, Hexed both his Sneeds and Ysera, traded Al Akir's divine shield into his Grommash, and managed a full board with no cards left. What a goddamn degenerate way to play this game. I get that not every game goes to fatigue, but come on. This is unacceptable. I'd rather face 1000 Facehunters and Goblin Blastmages than face another 45 minute goddamn Control Warrior.

It'd be one thing if this were an epic meaningful game at Rank 1 on the way to Legend, or a Top 100 Legend game on stream in front of 1000 viewers, but a 55 **** minute game at Rank 15 on Day 3? Come the **** on. That's not a fun way to play the game. (Ok I'm lying it was really fun and memorable, far moreso than nonsense Facehunter games, but it feels completely pointless at Rank 15.) And to think I was considering enchanting Grom and trying this class out just a day or two ago...
