7 wins into rank 2 now, the nr1 guys elo must be crazy high. The 7-0 game at rank 2 was vs legend rank 38 and somehow that still wasnt enough to take the 1st place

getting insanely lucky, I just got this hand (kept everything of course) in my latest game (the 7-0) and he played a gnomish on 4 so I know I'm gonna win this 99.99% cos he is patron. Still wasnt enough jeez

damn dont think its gonna happen, I'm now 11-4 still at rank 2. Judging from that 7-0 at this rank was not enough I think I would have to go on such an insane run to get nr1 now that it's not gonna happen.



Xixo isn't nr1 on NA anymore btw, he tried retake it earlier but didnt get it with a 6 winstreak at rank 2. After that he lost a bunch of ranks I think. He is nr1 on EU still i think. I am 9 on EU now could try there maybe

What kind of winrate do you legend guys get from 5 to L?

With 2 hours 10 minutes left in the season. I finally got legend for the first time! Feels so good because at about 1-3 pm today, I got to rank 1 with only 2 stars left to go, and dropped down to 1 star away from rank 3. Decided to try again tonight, played with a lot less nervous energy and had fun.

Crazy grind, I kinda want to do it again next season. ;-)

Varies wildly. Previous months ive given updates on rank climb (then i kinda wondered / thought they were annoying for people) but its basically anywhere from 50 to 62/65 tops or so.

Forthelulz had a few stretches (one with a bomb lobber warriors months ago i recall) where he went like 80% to burst to legend but that is exceptional and rare. Teenageqi had a winstreak from rank 3 to legend winning 15 in a row this past month i believe but as noted, super rare and uncommon

The legend grind from 5 really can be frustrating (as so many here have experienced!) but i really do believe its a great test of wills or whatnot for actually getting there

Let me talk about my journey upwards.... From rank 8 to 4, I played RDU's aggro pally with +2 Blessing of Might, +2 Argent Squire, +1 Truesilver, only 1 Consec and only 1 Cog (Edit: No Tirion, no Boom FYI). I started getting stomped and had to make it more midrange... So at first I just added 2 Consecrations, Harrison, Boom and Tirion. When I made it to rank 2 and above, I was playing either super aggro or much more control, which left my deck in a weird spot.

From 2 to legend, I added even more heft by adding Belchers, more taunt giving with a second cog, and even a healbot. Only one game I played to legend that my healbot made a big difference, so take that addition with a grain of salt.

One more insight..... This was the first time playing Pally exclusively for the whole month, and after playing with this deck and getting to know it quite well there was a surprising MVP card that helped me win a **** load of games. And that was Blessing of Kings....

There would be many situations I'd transform a shredder with avenge into 11/6 monster, or a 8/6 haunted creeper that just owned people so hard. This card is absolutely devastating and when you use it at the right times (Post silence usage or major AOE event), it's basically good game.

Finally hit rank 1 legend!!! This early in the season doesnt mean much but still pretty stoked since ive never actually hit it before. Lets see if I can defend it for the rest of the season. This is on NA btw. Patron OP
