2 Arcane Blast with 1 Azure Drake seems wrong. Why not the second Azure Drake over the Grand Crusader?

It works well. The 6 drop is for effigy I'd assume. I put PSG in its place and it's been amazing.

It does seem kinda counterintuitive to play 2x a card that gets double bonus from spell damage but then only play 1x card that gives you bonus to spell damage but I've never played it so idk

I think what's been holding me back with tempo mage is my insistence on including flamestrike, haven't seen anyone post a "legend" deck that includes it so obv I'm onto nothing by including it.

It just seems like every other game a board comes along where I really wish I had it, so been scared to dump it.

Including a 2nd drake instead of a conjurer is fine I'm sure. That being said blast would be an include if it was arcane shot. It kills a 3/2 on turn two with apprentice and you want 6 1 mana spells for tony/waker. If you run effigy then mirror image is out so that leaves arcane blast.

I wonder if the reason effigy works well in that list is that people try to play around mirror and counterspell first.

Yup. And then even after the first one most people spazz the f out and misplay. Guy already saw me get effigy off on a 5 drop then proceeds to clear my PSG before pinging off a 3/1 mana wyrm. Out popped a shredder and a boulderfist aka gg no re.

Hit legend losing 3 games from rank 4 with this hybrid Secret Pally list I put together. I am currently 23-4 with it thus far.

I'm convinced this is the best variant atm. People don't play around repentance like they used to (unless you got the full christmas tree from MC). And leeroy's burst damage allows you to set up lethal a turn earlier (think what ragnaros did for you...except now it's targeted), and this matters when you are running proactive cards with no divine favor...it's worth it to pay a 5 mana fireball for lethal.

Been a long time since I've even made it past rank 8 due to never trying since constructed is boring to me and arena is more fun. Was at rank 11 three days prior and played a little druid for fun, went like 30-5 or something obnoxious and ended at rank 3. Made it a while later finally succumbing to playing secret paladin and tempo mage when druid started going sour. Feelsgoodman

I played a different CW list all last season peaked at r2, this one is much, much better. Actually climbed to r5 with Tempo Mage. I hit r2 last week and couldn't find the right deck, went down to r4, quit trying to hit legend falling to r7 with lol decks. Two days ago I decided to play this CW list from there and cruised to legend.
