Kolento was really high on Tomb Pillager too. I'm excited to play some more Rogue stuff (and Shaman) too. Been having fun with the Control Rogue minus Anub (don't have and not sure if I want to craft). Fun to have some sort of terrible cards like burgle in your deck and still do ok.

Actually now Lifecoach says that he knows you don't need to run only one ofs for Reno to work, but he thinks it's right to do it.

I never actually considered that but I think he's definitely right at least for Paladin. Being able to Reno on curve against aggro is so completely insanely broken. Like it might enough to just kill face hunter as an archetype. Then you get to be super greedy with your list, and most of the greedy cards are one ofs. Running a haunted creeper instead of a 2nd Minibot or whatever is really not that high of a price to me.

Notes
This minion's Battlecry checks the player's unused deck.[1] If it contains no more than 1 of each card, it will restore the hero to their maximum Health.

really disagree w/ his tunnel trogg review, i think it clearly replaces chow in shaman decks - that 5 healing is huge for shaman

always fun to hear complete different reviews from good players

im still baffled that pretty much everyone including me thought varian would be a gamechanger and the best card in tgt, and then you got people like reynad that said varian was bad but then also said refreshment vendor would break the game cause it was so good, haha.

(i wonder if varian would be a must if secret pallies and company didnt come out of the woodwork)

reviews are silly.

nobody thought mysterious was a game changer. by itself MC seemed harmless b/c LOL Pally secrets but we all know who's laughing now.

there are so many units they've been so wrong on:

lock and load--totally sucked and they totally loved it
i don't remember people raving about murloc knight (maybe i'm mis-remembering)
tuskarr (pally)-i myself thought it would be good but it's so ****ing inconsistent it just blows
tuskarr totemic--same problem as pally unit, it's not bad just inconsistent but also lol shaman
thunder bluff--without a way to get a ton of tokens on board like muster it just isn't that good
varian wrynn--it's just too slow and losing battle cries sucks for warrior

I'm pretty sure everyone with a brain thought MC could be game breaking, but that it would be hard to predict without testing it.

I haven't seen a murloc knight in the last 100 games I played.

I do think everyone underestimated just how far behind shaman was as a class. It did get very good cards but it wasn't enough.

big part of shaman being terrible is it can never deal with hunters, its pretty annoying patch after patch

you must not play arena...it's much less popular in constructed though. it's still a nice card though. doesn't really fit in secret or aggro pally and has fallen out of favor with many MR pally lists.

Arena is so awful today compared to beta. The cardpool water-down effect means you can't actually build any themes into decks, just picking the best cards. I don't find that fun at all. derp derp derp smash smash smash SMOrc.

They need an 'arena' type game mode where you get to draft a deck from a pool of ~100 cards. That would be way, wayyyyyy more fun and I'd actually play it all the time.

Looks like the adventure has been released....so much for Thursday...damn don't have enough gold in my non F2P account yet.

NM, looks like you can buy it and get 2 new cards.

I'm still baffled that everyone thought it would be game changing It just doesn't fit in with what Control Warrior does. But it might work in Patron...

Then again I though Rhonin would be the top legendary.

edit: tbf, I don't think there's any consensus after 1. Justicar, so I might not be far off

Think there are 4 cards that will see play in like every deck.

1. Tunnel Trogg - 2 in every Shaman deck
2. Fierce Monkey - 2 in every Warrior deck
3. Mounted Raptor - Replaces Shade in Aggro Druid (maybe even in MR)
4. Keeper of Uldmann - One of in every Paladin deck

It's possible Everyfin is Awesome is beyond broken level good. I have never played a Murloc deck, but played against some, and especially with the Murloc Wisp flooding the board will be easy. Getting that buff at like 4 mana is INSANE.

I was watching Lifecoach break every card down. Good stuff.

I'm still skeptical about Reno. It is a legendary, after all. Building an entire deck around a powerful legendary can never be consistent. I'm pretty sure you have to keep Reno in your opening hand. Otherwise, you need to cycle through your deck really hard, right? People are just going to die with these greedy lists because Reno won't be drawn.

So the one weird thing about Everyfin is it doesn't specify your Murlocs--so will your opponents come back if you are playing against Shaman or MR Pally? It could be broken especially in some weird rush Murloc deck with all the OP murlocs but I think in most cases it'll be a gimmick.

Both that and Anyfin can Happen are hard to evaluate. The Awesome one can obviously be procced in combo with the 0 mana 1/1s.

But AcH is also quite interesting, since you can control what it summons. Imagine getting a warleader, murkeye and a pair of bluegills... could be a really nasty finisher.

Oh i'm thinking about the Pally one--that should be fine. Not sure it'll be OP but it'll be interesting.
