Don't forget Quick Shot, Flamewaker both have their places in decks (MRH, FH and Tempo Mage).

Some of the dragons aren't bad in Arena but constructed wise they are mostly pretty mediocre. Fireguard is also sick in arena and not bad in Mid Range Shaman which of course is rarely played.

I guess the question is what kind of cards are we missing that would make dragons more competitive? Maybe some way of more easily dealing with Patrons. The deaths to get value cards from many of the BRM were all kind of weak in the current meta. Hopefully they get a more interesting mechanic. Naxx was very deathrattle centric mechanic which have remained extremely popular in the current meta.

The problem is Dragons suck in fast meta. We are currently in the fastest meta I can remember.

The main problem to me is that most dragons are high mana cost and that makes dragon decks slower, and slow decks in this game get absolutely crushed unless they are highly specialized for maximum survival (handlock and control warrior).

Dragons could be a thing if there were more decent small and medium sized dragon cards. Particularly an early'ish dragon with taunt, like a 3 mana 2/4 Dragon with Taunt or something along those lines.

It was probably mentioned but something like a mini- sludge belcher could probably do wonders with stopping some of the aggro.

I'd like to see a card designed to punish ignoring the board and just going face. Like a low cost minion that say, gains +1/+1 every time the hero takes damage or something like that. I dunno, just something that helps punish a player who's whole deck is designed to rush face without worrying about the board.

Someone teach me how to open legendaries please

I started this game in the last week of may and have opened one legendary, with a minimum of 1 pack per day.


I've now counted 70 decks and my bets are that is a lot more than that. Wtf are people doing who have 5+ legendaries in their decks?



Also teach me how to get a chance at strong minions in arena, last run my "good" cards were 6 ****ty epics (none above 48 on hearth arena), war golem popped twice, core hound once, and boulderfist ogre once.


Ended up with a deck with one 6, zero 5s, and a ton of 1-4. Went 2 and 3 obv thanks to a wonderful mage who coined out gahzrilla on turn 4 and then top decked a fireball on turn 6 to beat me when I had lethal, and also thanks to a druid who of course went coin, innervate 2x on turn 3 to put that 8/8 taunt out. Oh and a face hunter who went coin trogg, turn 2 trogg, turn 3 random beast that adds one attack. I got a pack (which had 2 of the same card, yay) that equated to a bunch of **** and 10 dust and 50 dust.

yeota are you sure you're paying attention? a lot of your posts suggest less than 100% conviction rate while playing hs

3 mana 1/2 taunt. Gain +1/+1 for every minion your opponent summoned last turn.

Card that is punished by silence, but punishes a lot of the face decks. Could easily be a turn 3 3/5 taunt or sit in your hand and not be playable.

Cotton's minion idea seems good, but prob have to word it such that it gains stats only on your opponents turn, otherwise it's prob OP in warlock.

2/3 gains +1/+1 whenever Hero takes damage on opponents turn. That would be someone balanced and played.

If it makes you feel better: I started in January. By the beginning of May, I had opened up 3 legendaries. I opened 1 in May and 1 in June.

Last week, I opened 4 packs. 3 had legendaries, including a golden legendary.

It's very random.

I've opened a ton of packs on my slightly pay to play and I have almost all the legendaries but there are stretches, like poker, where I hardly opened legendaries. I think I bought 150 packs when that amazon deal came out and only picked up like 3-4 legendaries.

Conversely I have a pure F2P with both expansions and haven't opened a ton of packs but lately I've probably opened 10 packs and gotten 2 legendaries. I would imagine I started playing this account 6 months ago. Both legendaries blow BTW, Oyxnia and Flame Leviathan...so I can't really play either of them.

What about a 3 mana 1/1 taunt with deathrattle : summon a 1/1 taunt with deathrattle : summon a 1/1 taunt. Playable? Garbage? Or OP? 3/3 of stats for 3 but super annoying to deal with.

Too many bodies. If you can't silence it, you're going to lose a ton of tempo and probably the game. Especially later in the game when you're both in top deck mode.

Problem is also there are like critical cards I need still, azure Drake, preparation, etc to have competitive decks and I don't have those either yet

It's an ok card. Really slow in the meta. Not super great.
