^^ congrats Wombat, I do remember your post about Facehunter a few days ago. It was blatantly obvious too... "oh Zoo is the #1 meta hmm I need a counter" though I don't think the matchup is as easy as people claim (I hear all the time omg this matchup is 95% winrate and it's usually like 70% at best even in insanely favourable ones.) Must be nice.

Spent another $40 on packs today so I'd have enough dust for Malganis (who I played for like 5 matches before switching.) But at least when I run into kids like this I feel good about myself, knowing I'll never quite be *this* degenerate or tryhard...

yea I never actually knew it before but I guess arena gives you way more rewards if you do well. I've spent $3 total on the game buying 1 arena run when I first installed it, and almost always craft the golden version of any card I need if I don't already have it. I do have a couple hundred more games than WhiteGoose though (like 3450 vs his 3250)

Key is that arena gives better rewards than constructed, but only if you're good.

If you average 3 wins in arena, it's about even. If you average about 7 wins in arena, you are "infinite" arena (getting enough gold to pay for additional arena runs in addition to getting the card bonuses.

i think for most players who hover around rank5, if they play arena equally as well they should be able to go infinite

the skillset is different of course, but not like tremendously so

to summarize this post:

the game is pure luck unless 1 player is more skilled than the other.
