Having Loot Hoarder in a warlock deck seems mildly dumb. Clearly this deck is "Undertaker or bust". My understanding is that a troll deck is a deck you know to be suboptimal, but you play it anyway, with the hope that opponents will see that you've made dumb card choices, and will be angry when you beat them anyway. When you lose to this, you gun be mad, because you know the deck is junk without Undertaker.

It's not a "troll" deck as in a "joke" deck. I called it "troll" because of how much your opponent gets trolled while trying to clear the board. All the deathrattle Undertaker buff stuff is pretty troll to deal with.

Just recently took out the 2 loot hoarders. had baron in there for the longest time during my climb but he doesn't make enough impact. 2 void terrors is 1 too many for my liking. same with 2 hellfires. ran with thalnos and double mortal coil for a while, but they didn't do enough. the sun cleric is great but i hate having a poor curve, which is why i dont run dark iron dwarves.

the problem i ran into was the reverse synergy when i had soulfire or doomguard in hand, since it caused me to discard extras. plus a 2/1 is naturally not very sticky on the board, so its hard to buff him

Bobbo your deck is a pretty standard Zoo archetype with a few substitutions. Mine is built around Undertaker with like 20 deathrattle minions. I don't think they're all that similar.

Sure but doesn't that also apply to every single Hunter deck people have been taking to Legend this month?

I just want to have the pride of building some ridiculous deck, getting good with it and playing it to Legend. I've had enough of netdecking Hunters and all that.

yeah maybe you're right. when i first formed the deck i had more deathrattle, guess ive slowly taken them out as the month has gone on

if you dont respond to an early undertaker it s super hard to come back , your opponent snowball really hard. people who surrender at turn or 3 are definitly overreacting but unless your opponent doesnt follow up at all he get a huge edge

I think the hunter decks need a couple more deathrattle cards. I think as played there aren't enough buffs in the deck to get the undertaker to where you want him.

if you play more you ll reduce the effectiveness of misdirection and lose some burst potential.

if you want more board control you need to play the version with belchers and lions

undertaker is all about getting it to a 3/4 on turn 2/3 - any more than that is just unnecessary

the point is you get to take out two 2 drops with it, not that you make it big enough to take out savannah highmane

That Druid deck is strong if you can survive getting burst down. I think you should win pretty much any game where your opponent doesn't have a strong board by turn 5.
