I've probably dropped $100 on packs, plus playing for several months off and on. I've got, like, 8 legends, and not the first giant of any kind.

I think webspinner is fine, it's like a less consistent tracking that can sometimes deal a couple damage and can synergize with the other beast cards.

Webspinner is fine. It synergies with all your beast cards and fits lower on the curve than Loot Hoarder, which is nice.

Stonetusk Boar sees some play and Webspinner is definitely better than that in midrange/slower hunter decks.

stonetusk boar mstly sees play becasue it combos well with huntersmark and i isnt like loothoarder becasue as i said earlier it doesnt wok like the catains parrot that draws from your deck it puts a random copy of any beastcard in your hand and it totally isnt comparable to to tracking. i dont even get how anyone could claim that.

Well, yeah doesn't accomplish the same thing as tracking at all but it sort of fills the same kind of space in a deck. It's a 1 mana filler card that has upside, I should have said flare not tracking.

It's like good for kill command yo. I'd be furious if it drew me a patriarch.

yeah ok i agree on that its still not really the same because a cantrip like flare helps you thin out your deck and brings you closer to drawing your good cards (combos, burst) while webspinnner draws you a card but it isnt from your deck so its less effective.

2. Which of those linked decks do you think is the best baseline, and why? How would you build it?

I've heard this gripe a lot but it's worth repeating. If you're tired of playing against a deck, make a counter to that deck and all of a sudden you don't face it any more.

I was sick of facing so many handlock and Miracle rogue decks so I went with a mill deck that excels at overfilling hands. Of the next 13 games, 1 was Miracle and 0 were handlock.
[Mage, Hunter, Shaman, Warrior, Druid, Rogue (miracle), Druid, Shaman, Warlock (zoo), Mage, Warlock (zoo), Priest, Mage]

It felt like 2 out of every 3 games before I switched were Miracle and Handlock. It was satisfying milling out the Miracle Rogue. Probably the first time I've been irritated at the meta feeling balanced instead of super weighted. Variance I guess. Milling out Prophet Velen was particularly satisfying.

Looks like some kind of token druid deck would be best with the cards you have. The Ancients are both really good cards. And Illidan works decent with those decks but I would turn Nozdormu, Bane of Doom, Twisting Nether, and Patient assassin into 700 dust.

OK, thanks, done and done. I've put together http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/61692...es-token-druid, but with five cards different due to lack of ownership: Naturalize -> Claw, Bite -> Swipe, Nourish -> Starfall, Ancient of Lore -> Ancient of War, and Cenarius -> Ironbark Protector. Surprised by no Druid of the Claw, but I'm sure that dude knows better than me. Now I just got to figure out how to play it.

That deck looks weird. 2 each naturalize and bite but only 1 swipe. All druid decks need 2 each innervate, wrath, swipe, and Druid of the claw imo. Then there is room for variations of the other 22 cards.

Druid of the Claw is one of the best 5 mana cards in the game.

Yeah that card is extremely strong.

saw kripp play around with druid and oracles so I made my own (probly better, he did his much faster for the lulz) and I changed about a fourth of the cards:



wins surprisingly a lot

handlocks and rogues get pretty damn wrecked by naturalize on giants+coldlight oracle (with possibility of panda/mukla)

auctioneer gets you the alexstrasza to put anyone in danger (sometimes save urself but... yeah.), savage force combo and malygos+moonfire/survive or innervate to wrath.

vs full on aggros you gotta keep pandas for farseers ldo. moonfire not too bad vs zoo, esp if you can auctioneer them up.

Ive also added mountain giants which I think are a huge boost to the deck. coldlight into giant is pretty gg.


honorable mention (cut) to E.T.C, I stopped using it but it was OK, sometimes burning an enemy draw. Just doesnt cut it to survive or add much. You already got lots to play at 5-6 mana.
