Holy crap. Just had a game in arena where, whenever my opponent played something, I had the perfect answer. He has amani berserker and the 2/1 & 1/1 murloc out? Cone of cold. He gets venture co pretty early but I still have some board control? Leeroy JENKINS! Another Venture Co? Big Game Hunter. Idk how pissed that guy had to be.

you can also disenchant cards (or all the duplicates by pressing the button) for a bit of dust.

Epics are worth 4x rares, legendaries 4x epics for both breaking down and making cards. Double for golden versions.

no, there is a fatigue mechanic that comes into play.

Everytime you're supposed to draw (on your turn on for example you play a novice engineer that makes you draw), you take 1 damage, which adds up.

If you ahve no cards left two turns in a row, at the start of those turns you take 1 dmg, then 3, etc.

I think its 4 after 2 but im not sure if its +1 or double. Happens rarely if its not a priest game.

wow just made a HUGEEE mistake playing holy nova when I had the girl that switches healing and damage, 12_)$*(!)+$*I!, had 7 wins and an EASY 8th win and instead whiped out my entire board. I'm on RAGING tilt right now

Just finished a long arena run with a lot of knock down, drag out games:



NINE AND 1, THE DREAM BABY! I chose priest because it was easily a cut above the others.

My priest cards : Inner Fire (Amazing in 2 for 1 trades to save a creature), 3*Lightspawn, Cleric, 2*Temple Enforcer, Circle of healing (Don't hate, this one is amazing at times), Shadow : Death, Shadow Madness, 2* Mind Control.

One epic fail: Was neck and neck in a match with another priest. He had 2 cards with 1 health on board, and I had a lightspawn somewhat healthy on board. He holy novas to set up the trade, but he forgot he had Auchenai Soulpriest (Your healing effects now do damage) on the board, wiping his own board and damaging him as well.

BEAT : I got 165 frikkin gold for this, and 2 golden cards. What is the freaking deal with that.

inner fire is aids, and I dont see how its 2 for 1 to win an attack by a little. It would be 2:1 if you drew a card, killed a minion and lost no hp...

I would say it is niche. I did select it over two crappy murlocs though. It works well because you can ignore the silence used on your lightspawn, which I had at least 2 of at that point. It definitely works much better if you have taunt tanks (Mogushan warden) and/or divine spirit and power word shield. You definitely don't want to build an arena strategy around it.

As for the 2 for 1, what I meant to say is if you had to trade 2 for 1, as in my situation with wolfrider in hand, raging worgen & knife juggler on board, and a yeti across from me, you can use inner fire on yeti after ramming wolfrider into it to get a 1 or 2 attack yeti to ram worgen into and get extreme value. Inner fire certainly isn't worth a card though.

ye it can be decent in perfect situations

I unlocked all the classes just doing regular matches, yeah you have crappy cards but you still gain xp and will still win a few matches along the way to get some gold too.

Retire after 8 wins if you want to maximize gold and don't care about the cards. You get more gold instead of a gold card.

You're 9th match would be a dream for someone on a deep run.

Or even better, 2 people each trying to tank so they don't get a 9th win.

I buffed up 2 minions and he has 2 mind controls =/ gg me

yeah buffs are pretty terrible now that priests are good.

mindcontrol and shadow word death = gg your buff cards

Yeah those shadow words were sucky too. He had some that instantly killed anything with health over 5 or attack over 5. Then take minion to 1 hp. My minions were useless. I gotta either make a deck that I like or find a basic set that I like.
