Hearthstone?! (Blizzard online card game) - Page 203 - Hearthstone -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I just got the combo in on a priest and it did not work.

Well, a variant anyway. So maybe there is some technical requirements.

Hero at 30 life. Villain plays his own Alex on turn 9 to take me to 15.
Hero plays some combo of heal cards on turn 9. Villain doesn't do any more damage to me.

Hero at 29 life. Villain at 9 life.
Hero emotes he's sorry. Hero plays Eye for an eye, then Alex.
Hero at 15 life. Villain no change. Secret did not trigger.
Hero proceeds to get floor stomped.

Lol, just used betray on an emperor cobra that was between a ironbark protector and ogre. So much value.

so if you disconnect from battle.net its just an automatic loss? I was 2-0 in arena and reconnected within 30 seconds of my dc but the game didn't restart. No loss though, so I figured it was canceled or something and played another game. Won that and now I have a 3-1 record

Yes a disc is an auto loss in hearthstone. Wish they fix that.

I agree. When you're playing just 1 game, luck has a lot to do with it, even with the sickest decks. I get pretty tilted during arenas.
(Skill is way less of a factor imo. Even with the best deck it doesn't seem like you can be much better than a 60% favorite over a mediocre deck.)

hypothetical: nothing on board, turn 2, 2 mana: have choice of playing faerie dragon and loot hoarder. which do you play and why?

i chose faerie dragon, deciding that it's better to get some good face damage early.

what are your guys' favorite bait plays, if any? i used to try to do flamestrike baits but i think it's bad now (too obvious). i think the mind control tech bait is pretty good, and so fun.

cool, makes sense. i was thinking maybe it'd be good to get the loot hoarder out there first to get some good value out of it in case they play a 2 health minion. too hopeful thinking though, faerie dragon is a lot more reliable.

I was going to say:

Turn 4-6: Do anything
Turn 7: Flamestrike

Typically works like a charm. Seems like no matter how obvious I make it (yeah I totally played that Mirror Image on turn six at random....) I end up getting 3:1 or 4:1 on a flamestrike.

Is Gelbin Mekkatorque playable in constructed?

I tried him out without knowing exactly how he works and his inventions seem to hurt you as much as they help.

I ve never got a negative effect while playing it , so obviously it s an awesome card
on a more serious note for someone with almost no cards yeah, i guess it s a bit better than a 6/7 for 6 but that s marginal at best
