Right now, the game would be better if priest was just deleted. They've botched priest's redesign so badly. Since the rotation, every class has gone away from created by stuff, except for priest which has just dove face first into being the created by class.
Illucia is just the most toxic card ever printed that ~everyone hates, yet it somehow still exists.
The samuro apotheosis combo is beyond broken - if the priest has it, it just renders the first 6-7 turns of the game meaningless.
IMO, combo priest was the most interesting priest deck, and should have been the direction the class went. That deck was what priest should be about
: board control, sticky minions, punishing finisher for classes that ignore board. They messed up with Amet, that card was mega broken. But the combo priest decks that existed before that were really cool and super fun to play.
Having priest lack a natural finisher and rely solely on exhausting the opponents resources as their win condition is a very poor choice.
