BGs are terrible right now. High roll and hit 5 drops as good as 6 drops or take 25 on like 9 gold. Fun stuff.

Hit legend with this deck today, I like to climb with weird decks. It's a whirlkick master miracle rogue. It's fun, give it a go!

I think this meta has actually been quite good. It’s been in a constant state of change since the release. Nothing overly broken - although soul demon hunter’s reach is a little absurd.

I normally just hit 3-5 platinum but due to my confusion I went up to 1 platinum the other day. Well I finally got to Legend, I'm still a noob but was having so much fun with the cyclone mage deck (instead of grinding poker) that I made it all the way to legend. Ended it with a Pyroblast I had discovered.

Thanks. I'm not going to lie Evocation is totally busted especially since you can draw it from multiple battlecries. Prime also saved me a few times. He's much friendlier than Yogg to me.

Also got a 12-2 arena. Hitting my peak HS, like 5 years too late lol.

Holy ****, I know it's a random spin off yogg, but Pyroblast until someone dies seems ****ing terrible.

Oh good i finally crafted the last card for small spell mage and they nerf two of the core cards.

That’s what I hate about the way they nerf - obviously I’m not gonna dust evocation or solarian. But chenvalla is worthless if small spell mage is not good.

Yep, there are 5 pretty high rolly options at 19% chance, and 1 (Cast pyroblast randomly until a hero dies) that hits at 5%.

Gonna put him into a quest shaman deck, keep a lightning bloom in my hand and get 2 wheel spins!

5% chance to coin flip the game does not seem oppressive at all. I like stuff like that, it feels good to be in a low equity situation and then send it to a coinflip

You tell yourself you want to be happy for the guy that pulls off something like that, because Hearthstone is fun.

But in reality.... I hate losing and I hate that guy.

I drifted off HS back when Ragnaros was kicked out of standard but just reinstalled it to give it a shot. (I've been using Rocket League as my go-to the past few years, but had to give that up now because **** epic and I'm never linking my account to anything epic-related.)

While I love playing HS, I really don't enjoy the whole deck-building thing - I realize this is a leak, but still - is there a way to play HS at a reasonably skilled level now without bothering too much with deck building or, if not, are there sites/tools to help you build good decks without having to spend hundreds of hours considering the synergy of cards?

There are a ton of sites which have all the elite deck lists—hsreplay.net and hearthpwn.com; but if you’ve been a way for a while, you may not have the cards for all the elite decks. Everyone plays around 10-15 decks right now after you get to diamond.

I subscribe to hsreplay. It is an amazing site. You can filter decks by dust cost, it’ll even tell you what decks you can craft according to your set, if you use deck tracker (i don’t).

The new mode seems cool. A mix between constructed and arena.

I don't think that it makes saving all your old wild cards worth it, nor does it make the game that much more expensive for newer players. Just like in constructed, a meta will probably form very shortly in which you will need a couple of wild cards, which people can craft with dust.

Though that might also be its eventual demise, where just like in constructed, a stale meta will form and bore players quickly. But this one will be luck based as well as the randomized buckets of cards will quickly be categorized and meta decks will form based on the buckets you get and the cards you choose in the beginning. It depends on how much variety and depth they give the format.

Also, can anyone confirm how Cthun will work? Do you start with 33 cards in your deck compared to everyone else's 30? Seems like that can be a huge advantage for a control deck

New legendary (rotate cards a direction you choose) is pretty ****in toxic. Gg big warrior. I’ve been ****ed so many times by that card today.

I added him to my control shaman deck and have bumped my winrate huge against big warrior and Paladin.

Ill just take that 8/8 Taunt divine shield, and you can have my 2/1 storm guy.
