While I'd like to blame my lack of progress since the patch on quad queues I've barely noticed it at 11k and haven't noticed it on higher ranked streams either.

Its also made popular streams unwatchable, Im not interested at all in seeing how groups collude against unlucky solo queuers. And those streamers are the games biggest advertisement

2 of the top 3 decks right now are soul demon hunter and face hunter both of which you often lose without their minions dealing a single point of damage.

soul DH isn't aggro and face hunter is heavily reliant on minion damage, not sure what you're talking about

i mean, soul DH & bomb warrior have def put a clock on the meta b/c you can't play a value game vs those decks, you have to go under them - but neither is aggro

Yea rogue has the only deck right now that could fit that description and last I played it wasn’t being played that much

Guess what i'm saying is both of them kill you even if you 100% react and prevent face damage from every minion on their board

Guess hunter variant often does deal damage with their minions, but i've lost games where they do almost no minion damage and rely on things like beast/kill command, the 4 mana legendary deal 5, etc.

First impressions are that elementals are pirates 2.0. No way to give them shield or poison = trash late game. Could be good early/mid though and then you go to 5/6 and transition. A couple might make decent menagerie pieces.

Rag: Not sure how good this will be (haven't ever counted how long it takes to get to 20 kills), not better than low tier 2 though as it's useless early so your opponents will be doing most of the killing.

Rakanishu: Trash

Chenvaala: I don't have high hopes for elementals so I don't have high hopes for this plus single tribe oriented heroes are never great. If it works it'll be because elementals are super solid early so you can fast level to 6 and play good stuff but even that'll be inconsistent. Can be great when it goes off but mostly a poor man's omu that pushes you in a bad direction. Decent tier 2 ceiling.

Al' Akir: Destined to join Jandice, Maieve and LK in tier 1. Strong all the way through the game. At a guess somewhere between Maieve and LK?

Jandice does seem too strong. With the additional tribe, does that mean two tribes will be missing from each game now? Maybe with more games missing mechs (pogos) , that will be a hit to Jandice?

Jandice has a lot of elemental synergy so can't see it being a nerf to her

Party elemental seems like a great t2 engine so if you hit it turn 3 you might rely on elementals to carry you to t5 and maybe level on 8 gold and again on 9 gold if you high roll with it and get a pair of them.

I realize having stats stats stats games isn't the most fun, but not sure about having a Tavern 4 poisonous. I guess the divine builds keep it in check?

Saw someone in twitch chat suggest that Grimestreet Protector should be a 6 drop. Think it would be pretty op but it would make pirates and elementals playable. I think a t5 4/4 give divine shield to a minion would be interesting.

I kinda like dual heroes for arena.

Just finished a 9-3 run so I like it too (at least for now ha ha). I've only played Arena a handful of times before and have been pretty mediocre at it -- usually in the 3-4 win range. So I'm not sure if it was getting really lucky, starting to get the hang of it, the dual hero format, or a combination of all.

At any rate, I played a Mage - Demon Hunter which turned out to be unexpectedly fun to play and a pretty effective combo with decent aggression plus board control.

I will never get this lucky again

Been playing broom paladin. Pretty much winstreaked all the way to diamond. This deck is good. The tempo swings it’s capable of are crazy. you have liadrin to generate value against control decks, you have tools to clear the board and play almost like a control deck, you have tools to be a little aggro, you have tools to play for big tempo swings, it has healing, it just has everything seemingly.
