Spell Druid seems super dumb. I would not dust any extras associated with that deck.

Im absolutely tearing **** to pieces with enrage warr that is running shield of honor (give a dmged minion +3 attack and divine shield)

This is the list. Tearing things apart. No one expects the 1 mana buff and it just wins games. Having 2 4/9 warmaul challengers with divine shield on turn 4, I don't think any deck in the game can deal with it.

That's the dream scenario but it has plenty of reach to beat down a lot of decks and does well against other aggro decks. The faceless corruptor could probably be an egg or another rampage or something. Idk. I just kind of threw this together with staple cards from last expansion.

Well I'm not playing Demon Hunters 8/10 times so this launch is already a success imo

Yeah, I'm going to wait to see the stats provided by Vicious, but I have a very strong gut feeling that this deck will be one of the--if not the--strongest decks in the format a month from now.

The explosiveness is just ridiculous, and it isn't reliant on some super fringe combo or god-open to pull it off.

The gross part is that they have endgame reach, too. They have Gromm and other such things to burst you for 15 or whatever to end the game. That's what annoys me the most when I face it, though saving a couple of cheap taunts specifically for this part of the game obviously helps.

Think about how the matchup with "10-mana card Druid" plays out--unless druid utterly god-rolls, the Warrior just demolishes them way too quickly for their endgame to matter. Druid can't deal with their threats effectively enough.

I think I'm going to run this next, I need to get first hand thoughts on it. Heaven knows I haven't fared well against it with my highlander mage (0% winrate, a stark contrast with my 100% winrate vs. druid)

Edit: I'm actually curious how No-Fun Priest (control galakrond priest) fares vs. this. Seems like they'd be one of the few decks that can deal with the onslaught, but I have 0 experience playing Priest recently.

My thought last expansion was “wow enrage warrior is just one ‘buff a minion’ card away from being broken” and then I was opening packs and saw the shield of honor card and immediately thought it would be busted in that deck. It totally is. It should be at least 2 mana.

Haha I love that you were learning the cards upon opening the packs on release day--that's the most fun way to do it but these days I get too curious and end up spending hours with theorycrafting crap leading up to the release

Yeah I mean enrage warrior was top tier even prior to this expansion, this is all just icing on the cake. I noticed you aren't running Lord Barov, which I'd highly recommend trying out--he's broken. I will craft/play lord barov but I think the 8 mana dudes are too slow tbh. Getting one of those in your starting hand would be... oof. It’s already horrible enough getting a gromm in the first few turns. This deck can get some brutally bad starting hands. 2 weapons, gromm, double battle rage and no minions, etc.

I think gromm is a key finisher for the deck too. As you said a 15 damage finisher is just gross.

Oh man Barov and Troublemaker are great additions. I'm running terrible with Makin's list, but that's likely because I am much better with solitaire decks and need to get better at responding to actual gamestates

The trick with the deck is not to be too eager to play cards. Wait for the right opportunities to gain tempo. And always try to get warmaul challenger in mulligan. Ancharr is good too.

Been playing Galakrond Priest now--Illucia is just broken. In many matchups she just breaks the game: anything combo based you can break in 1 turn, against aggro she (almost) can be used to skip one of their turns b/c they can't really play your cards, and in the more general cases, if you're smart and time her correctly, she's just absurd levels of utility

(I also experienced a bug where she never switched the decks back. I think it's because I played his Galakrond that I stole that turn, but I'm not positive. Dude added me right after and we were both just "Wtf?")

I'm loving this tempo rogue deck so far. A little bit different than some of the others, no weapons, Toggwaggle and Jandice on the top end. It just feels really smooth, and feel like I'm in every matchup. Lots of cards and decisions to make. Secret passage is such a sick card, probably end up getting nerfed.

23-12 overall from ~2000 legend to ~1500
4-2 each vs Pally and Druid.
1-2 vs Warrior, only losing match up so far.

Man, survival druid can put out some seriously degenerate boards in the mid game. Reminds me a lot of cubelock
