Can you post the tempo priest list?

I never am sad about queuing into a demon hunter because they’re all bad and trade too much. But if you play that deck properly, you can just utterly steal games you had no business winning. I never concede games with DH because so often ive been in “unwinnable” scenarios and then it’s like oh woops I found 27 damage in two turns gg.

It has a lot of auto-loss scenarios which I find annoying when I play a deck, so I avoid playing it. Warrior plopping down an armorsmith and getting 40 whirlwinds off into it is one.

There’s not one deck on ladder that doesn’t do obnoxious ****. I hate all of them and I hate playing all of them, except galakrond warlock.

I can't wait to see how two more expansions of cards affects the meta.

Is it possible to introduce a bunch of new cards, make them powerful enough to be playable, and end up leaving people thinking that decks are somehow less broken than they are now?

If anyone is still grudgingly playing constructed for want of a better card game then please give runeterra a go. If you're enjoying it that's different obv but it seems like most people are just sticking with it even though it kinda sucks because it's what they know.

I'm still really enjoying bgs. Meta changed a ton with the last two patches and the quicker games definitely ramped up the variance but it means you have to think a lot more about areas of the game that were completely standardised before. It's like if everyone playing nlh was forced to switch to plo all at once and some thrived and some said the game is stupid now, change it back.

There have been a few similar lists posted on r/CompetitiveHS. Most have a Reliquary of Souls, but I used Soulbound Ashtongue because I didn't want to craft for the deck. There is something to be said for the 1 extra health, and the downside rarely mattered.

I didn't start that well with the deck, but it felt like I kept getting unlucky from dominant positions and I was having fun, so I stuck with it and started dominating. I know I went 11-1 from D6 to D2. But then it started struggling again and I moved on.

You need to mulligan very aggressively for the 1-drops so you can start snowballing ASAP. You can often take a stranglehold on the board within the first few turns. The problem with the deck is that it runs out of stuff quickly and if you get taken off the board, it's over. If you don't win fast enough, most decks have some way to end your pressure for good.

Selfless hero is ridiculously underappreciated right now. Its always been one of the best late games techs but now that baron is so meta a golden selfless with a couple of poisons can win you games where you're super out scaled. And the feel good factor is off the charts. You haven't really experienced winning till you've sold a golden goldrin and a big hydra for a poison murloc and a selfless hero vs infinite pirates. I've started prioritising it more and more in the early game.

I got to legend with galakrond rogue. Only deck I've played since coming back two months ago (mainly because most of it was free).

The quality of play seems to be at an all time low. Bomb warriors hitting a five attack weapon into my 1/2, demon hunters dropping naked satyrs. I think I lost one game after getting to diamond 5. Guess that's what you get when there are some 15000 legends now. I remember when dropping to 500 was dumpster rank lol.

Yea people are playing absolutely terrible. I think it’s because it’s much easier to hit the new dad legend than before, and the decks right now don’t really encourage good play because you can make massive mistakes and still pull your auto-win condition out of nowhere. Every deck has a “i win now” combo.

Only one of those cards was mine originally. I dont remember how i got three soul mirrors but the 7/7 cast five spells guy triggered a yogg box, which triggered ANOTHER yogg box, which triggered a third. It ended up healing my ****ing opponent back to full health and wiping my own board.

Still won but was the most clown fiesta game ive ever played. Holy ****.

I guess if there are 14k+ more legend players than there were and less people playing overall there will be legends now that would have got stuck at like rank 6 in the old days.

Was playing on my laggy af phone with no pc for a few weeks and managed to climb slowly out of 8k (never go pirates, under no circumstances collect kadgar and tokens for any possible transiton etc.) so feels good to finally get back to pc and climb to 10k without much difficulty. I reckon 10k bgs is probably roughly equivalent to old school hs legend. Gonna blame top 4/win ratio on phone play.

I’ve noticed my own play is much sloppier than it used to be. For starters, the legend climb is just way too easy, losses mean nothing, so why give 100%. And most games you don’t feel like anything you do affects whether you win or lose. It just boils down to who can do their insanely broken thing first.

They tell me Demon Hunter is OP and Shaman's in the dumpster. But I can't win with Demon Hunter (or Warrior or Spell Druid for that matter), so naturally I switched to this Shaman list and went 21-5 from D5-L.

I was playing a BG as Reno and found myself deep in to a game in which I had gilded a Wrathweaver on turn 5.

I had always wondered whethere or not the game would let you kill yourself with some form of self-damage. It turns out, that is a viable option. The game declares you dead and you exit the lobby. So if you find yourself in a position where you are competing for 7th or 6th, know that there is an honorable option of succumbing to the call of the Netherlords and sacrificing ones own HP to the power of the Demons.

This Warband did not seem like much but if luck is on your side you can pull wins out of nowhere. I beat divine shield poisonous murlocs twice in a row to go from 3rd to 1st. I ran incredibly lucky.

35-8 with that Shaman list now. Shaman might actually have the best deck.

I think there is definitely an aggro shaman list that exists or will exist in the next 2 expansions. It has the reach to be extremely deadly. Before the rotation i was having a lot of success running aggro shaman with doomhammer.

It just seems to be... missing something at the moment.

1 mana rockbiter weapon. It paid the price for tuskarr totemic's crimes but I think the card is fine.

Alexstraza change is huge and I am so happy about it. It kind of ruins my galakrond warlock, but it’s ok because this should shake up the meta a lot.

They haven’t really addressed dh’s ability to snowball hard in the early game though so I expect aggro dh will still be stupidly powerful

DH takes a little hit and the DA nerf was obviously mandatory, probably the least they could have done to it.
