feels like it won't play nicely with Spectral Cutless though

I’m worried that the rogue quest is going to be bad. I’m guessing it’s going to be an average completion of turn 7 or 8, and how relevant is the weapon going to be then? If it has lifesteal as well, I would def like it, but as is I dunno. I’m doubtful.

Seems worse than playing Spectral Cutlass when you consider the quest is a dead card vs. rogue.

Make it a 1 mana 3/2 or a 5/3 with that effect and we're talking.

Fate intervened as I opened two packs and unpacked Myra so now I'm trying off the Lackey deck. I'm getting pretty recked though I think I'm doing something wrong. I also think I've had some run bad in some of those games though which were quite winnable.

When I face a warrior I'm contemplating just giving up because they are utterly destroying me every time.

Yes, was thinking same. Seem bad because who cares about 3/2 weapon beyond early game.

However immune while attacking maybe is worth way more as you can just have hero power saying "dead3 damage to any target if there is no taunt" 2 turns in row for 2mana. Maybe it make it playable.

I've been trying to make a miracle list work for a while now, and this one is by far my most successful. I just missed drawing cards so much, all the lackey rogue lists have 0 card draw these days, outside of myras (which I hate).

This list isn't better than the lackey rogue list posted the other day, but it is actually good. I've climbed from gutter legend (~3000) all the way to 500. Gonna see how high I can get before the season ends.

Looks like a fun deck, I think I'll try it. I remember playing miracle rogue way back when, before Leroy nerf and it was a lot of fun. How do you mulligan generally, I think the mulligan is one of my weaknesses when I play rogue.

I could obv write a ton on mulligan, but here are some quick tips:

Blink fox is 100% keep in all matchups outside of rogue, on or off coin. Keep underbelly or vendetta if you've got an activator.

Vs aggro, you're looking for backstab + miscreant, and secondarily si:7. You generally can be a little looser and keep stuff like rat if you're on coin, but if you're off coin, you want to be hard mulliganing for backstab + miscreant.

Vs mage + paladin (usually mech), sap is a keep. I'll actually toss miscreant vs mage, you're looking for fox + henchclan. I'll actually keep the weapon and leeroy too sometimes if I've already got fox.

Warrior is whatever, you're going to lose.

Highlander condition keeps it in line but it's a bigger payoff than Kazakus

Good stuff. I think the mulligan is one of the worst parts of my game, I tend to autopilot too much based on hsr data.

What's your typical plan for Heistbaron Togwaggle? In other rogue decks I've tended to select Wondrous Wand about 60% of the time and Zarog's Crown the remaining; I don't think I've ever selected any other treasure.

I haven't really been playing much the last week because I've gotten pretty sick of this meta but I might give the deck a try, I've never played any deck that runs auctioneer (again, pretty new to game).

Going back to the discussion the other day, warlock indeed is getting a solid new lackey generator: a 1 mana spell Sinister Deal with battlecry "discover a lackey." Should be very strong with evil recruiter; I also think it will help increase the odds that Dark Pharoah will be good off the bat despite the anti-synergy with recruiter and vanilla stats.

Is zephyrs that good? Kazakus did absolutely broken ****, there isn’t a basic or classic card that approaches what the potions could do. It’s def a very good card, but I’m not sure it’s gonna be good enough to make Highlander decks relevant.

The question to me is how good is the algorithm. I think one of the most common uses is going to be dropping this on 4, hoping it gives you brawl for turn 5. The board state on 4 might not produce that as an option. If you can’t reliably do that, I think you’re looking at waiting until turn 7 where you can play this into a big board state and then reliably get brawl to play instantly. That seems too slow.

This is definitely going to be a play and see card. I’ve got my reservations b/c the basic and classic sets just don’t have an amazing AOE in them.

Togwaggle is wand is prob 95% of the time for me. Crown the rest. The ONLY time that I take either of the other 2 options is vs warrior and I’m looking for a Hail Mary like binking evis.

Shaman set is seeming really strong to me. The 1 damage aoe minion especially. And that rush minion. If something can be reduced to 0 mana, it will be abused.

Rogue quest seems a whole lot better now, since you can curve out 2 3 4 now and complete the quest in everything but the mirror. Still not sure about it, but the new spell helps a ton.

Love the priest set too, there’s gotta be a competitive deck or two in there somewhere.

Was hoping for more than 1 pirate from the xpac. Def disappointed there. Hooktusk is a very natural finisher for rogue, but there aren’t enough good pirates.

Overall pretty excited. Meta should shake up pretty well, which is all I really ask from xpacs.

Not sure what to think about naga sand witch, you'd obviously have to tech in only things like puzzlebox and power of creation

Naga 5 dollar foot long is hilarious for the puzzle box memes alone. I think that might be the first deck I try. Just a bunch of freezes, burn and those cards.

Ancient mysteries for mage is a bonkers good card. Secret mage is def a thing, and thank god I can’t take any more conj calling

Was also hoping for a 12 mana minion that suuuuuuuuuucks, but alas
