This xpac brought me back after a year off and now I’m out again. The prep nerf has destroyed rogue, it was the identity of the whole class. All of rogues overcosted spells were balanced around prep. There was absolutely no need for this. This is every bit the same as the wild growth nerf. The problem isn’t WG or prep, it’s bull**** cards like raiding party, Myra’s or UI that were the problem.

It’s a short sighted overreaction to one meta. The miscreant nerf and raiding party nerfs were enough. Rogue has been in the dumpster plenty of times with prep. This nerf, like the wild growth nerf, kills the deck the defines the class.

Miscreant nerf was very reasonable. Nerfing both Raiding Party and Prep seems like overkill. I feel like it probably would have been better to nerf Raiding Party and Waggle Pick. If they're going to touch Prep, seems like it should at least now be a rare card rather than epic, maybe.

I've been having fun feasting on rogue with Secret Hunter the last few days after a brief hiatus from game so I'm not thrilled about the timing.

I'm a bit disappointed they didn't touch Dr. Boom but they're probably waiting to see how these rogue changes pan out.

Crystology definitely didn’t need a buff. At 1 cost it is an absolutely insane tutor. 1 mana Pogo Hopper could also be pretty troublesome. Happy that they’re handing out buffs overall.

Think that the Prep nerf is insanely shortsighted. How many metas have we been through now where Rogue and Prep weren’t an issue?

thought i'd toss in my 2 cents as a mage main lul



Unexpected Results now maybeee useful by itself. It's a spell that gives 2 random {2}s (worth about 1.5) = 3, so at cost. Toss in that it's a spell and again, maybeee some use, but i doubt it. You need cards that give an advantage for the cost, which means you need something that uses the spell damage portion to amplify it, but so far it's been hard to fit spell damage minions into the decks.

Luna's Pocket Galaxy however had fringe use in previous patches before mage simply got better cards. There really aren't any insane deathwing dragonlord + N'zoth super value cards at 10 that you're just dying to get down.

Overall i predict fringe play and maybe some decks do work with them, but they're not gonna be world beaters

I think i created a really competitive deck but obviously it doesn't work if it gets popular.

The idea behind is to give Jaraxxus to our opponent and finish it with sacrificial pact or generate extra 10-20 cards to have a massive advantage against control. We have the perfect healing tools also.

We crush all the aggro decks fairly easily and control warrior. It is like 40% vs hunters deathrattle decks though. So midrange is a problem.
