If I know Blizz, they're gonna **** up the nerfs to rogue if and when they happen.

I don't feel like rogue is all that strong in the grand scheme of things, it's actually quite a slow deck. It's usual turn 1/2 plays are pass and hero power. In almost every other meta, there would be one or two decks that would go much faster than rogue. But right now there's no aggro pally, no tempo mage, and no face hunter. There are also no more snowbally 1/3 1 mana minions. So you have a meta where all the big plays are happening turns 3 through 7, and rogue just OWNS the midgame. So I think it's not that rogue is too strong, its that everything else is probably too weak.

Furthermore, if I’m identifying problem cards with rogue, I’m looking squarely at Myra’s. That card is not only completely busted, but is also NOT a rogue card. What makes rogue so great (the best designed class, IMO) is that it’s a combo class. Rogue’s cards are all about synergy - weak by themselves, but powerful when combined with other cards. You can’t (or at least shouldn’t) just vomit your hand with Rogue, you’ll run out of cards too fast and make inefficient plays. You gotta know when to sit and when to hit the gas to get max value and tempo. Myra’s throws this out the window. You can just puke your hand out, draw 10 cards, and burn your opponent out. No combo needed. Very dumb.

If I had to nerf another card, it’s probably deadly poison. This card just restricts Rogue too much. Rogue hasn’t had a good weapon in years because of this card. Waggle pick is not OP on its face, it’s truesilver with more variance. But with deadly poison, things get a little out of hand.

Seriously though, the rest of rogues core set should not be touched, especially preparation. Rogue has been in the dumpster plenty of times, the core set is not busted. Take this card away and rogue enters priest territory: relying on expansions to make the class good. Prep is the heart and soul of rogue.

EVIL miscreant really isn’t busted either. The card is slow as ****. It’s very good, but it’s slow. If you played this on 3 vs trogg shaman, tempo mage or face hunter, you’d be dead on turn 5.

The one neutral card I’d actually look at to nerf is dread corsair. It’s what makes prep raiding party so powerful. This card has been a problem before too with face warrior. Maybe make it reduceable, but not below 1 mana?

I don’t have a problem with conj calling. It seems totally fine to me. For mage to draw the nuts, they need to have the coin, play that 2 mana spell on 2, hit all minions, draw a giant, play it on 3, have it stick a turn, and have Khadgar and calling in hand. It happens, and it feels bad when it does, but it happens SUPER rarely. Mage isn’t warlock, they’re not guaranteed to get giant out on 4 every game.

Those mage decks are only around because of how slow this meta is. The run like no AOE and real aggro decks would own it so hard.

Oh, and Leeroy. It’s HOF time for him, he’s been at the top end of decks for years now. Time to hang it up.

Lackey rogue is not strong in relation to historical aggro decks but gas from Raiding Party and Myras is disgusting. There hasn't been an insane aggro deck in a long time.

I cant believe leeroy’s escaped the HOF for so long. But the thing with him is you can substitute reckless rocketeer and it’s basically the same thing. So theyd have to HOF that too.

Raiding party is pretty undercosted now that I think on it some more. Without combo it’s an arcane intellect that tutors. It should be 4 mana.

I think myra is a bit strong, ya. Miscreant is fine in standard but i cannot emphasize enough how insane in arena it is

Been thinking about it for a while, if i were a dev here's my changes:
1) Leeroy Charge->Rush; cost 5->4;
2) Dread Corsair cost 4->5
3) Wispering Woods cost 4->5
4) Magic Carpet stats nerfed to 1/4
5) Bombs now deal 4 damage
6) Dr. Boom bots now deal 1-3 damage
7) Dr. Boom (hero) bonus armor 7->5
8) Malygos changed to +7 spell damage, your spells cost 3 more.
9) The bottom 5 winrate cards from this expansion get +1 attack, +1 health, or both

Leeroy is fine. Basically an expensive fireball. If it’s rush it’s unplayable. It should be either more mana to avoid rogue combos or something else.

Theres already a 6/2 with rush it costs 4 but half the time its a 2/6. Leeroy would have the downside of giving your opponent dudes whilst also being less flexible.

I'm honestly surprised that I don't see more mech paladins out there

Sure it's hopeless against mage and hunter is difficult but I feel pretty good against lackey rogue, any warrior, and token druid

I just made a 30/30 Edwin on turn 5. Shark on board, lackey, shadowstep, lackey, second lackey, shadowstep, 2nd lackey, backstab, Edwin. Dodged the 1/3 spider bomb for the win. I hope blizz wasn’t watching b/c they’ll nerf him tomorrow.
