Its just a 1 card control killer that means you can just have 29 anti aggro cards and just turn them into value in matchups that its relevent

how is this much different than Arcane Tyrant? It's basically a 4/12 body vs. a 4/4 body and kalecgos costs 10 but has some upside

Like imagine you're playing Flamestrike this turn - if it's turns 7-9 you can't play kalecgos with this, while you can drop a 4/4 body in arcane tyrant. If it's turn 10 you get an additional 8 health on your minion with some upside, but even that upside (getting a free spell next turn) - is that really so huge?

That said - dragon tribe helps a lot

Tyrant is rotating, FLJ is rotating, Fury is rotating

Control mage will look much different and ideally 10 mana plays like this would be peak power unlike right now

It has everything. Hard to remove body, dragon activator which has historically has been an extremely strong deck archetype, two immediate powerful effects on the battlefield - discovery of a spell you can cast for free, or cast one of your own for huge tempo or value - and a passive that will almost certainly cause your opponent to lose the game if it stays alive a turn.

It’s absurd. Good thing a lot of dragon priests ridiculously powerful **** is rotating out.

Big tempo loss playing this card, additionally pretty bad if it’s at bottom of deck. Also has some comparables to dire frenzy - id arguably say frenzy is better. That said this card can also break the game but I’m not seeing it even with pogo

I don't see it being a real tempo loss. The earliest you'd play it is probably turn 4.

You're not removing your own minion. You're shuffling a copy of it.

People don't play yetis on 4, so playing a 3 along side it isn't a super tempo loss. People are currently skipping turns with hunter winning, and it isn't even Rexxar carrying in all the games.

I think the card will see a lot of play.

the only saving grace is that it's a rogue card and they generally don't go infinite/extend fatigue in Standard

It's -1 card early game - when you have 4-7 cards normally until turn 5 and is completely dead against aggro.
It's -1 mana early game playing the card
It's also dependent on having a card you want to use it on, which you wont always find early game

I don't know how you say all of this when Hunter right now is skipping turn three sometimes with Master's Call and flipping the game later.

Priests are skipping turns against aggro currently too and winning (usually by ressing Zilly five times).

Being perfectly mana efficient and playing the biggest minion each turn is like the ABC strat of folding anything below a pocket pair or AQ in poker. It works for the most part but it isn't always the optimal line.
