Hearthstone?! (Blizzard online card game) - Page 1838 - Hearthstone -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

Iksar made a tweet yesterday asking what would bring back people who don't play HS as a main game.

1) Alternative to ladder. Laddering hurts my soul after awhile.
2) Stop filling 75% of your expansion sets with **** cards that will never see the light of day. We all end up with the same decks from lack of choices in mana slots.
3) Balance your expansion cards, not just basic/classic cards.
4) Don't print tech cards to counteract broken ass cards you printed. Tech cards are fine and all, but not when they last two years and hit innocent bystanders.
5) From playing MTGA... you don't have to print broken cards for the game to be fun.

I like your points.

I actually think ladder should just be ELO, and it shouldnt reset every month. Makes it an impossible grind.
Agree about too many bad cards, but thats the nature of most card games.

I've DEed most of my wild cards too. (Not legendaries or golds) I'd be pissed if I was punished for this

Also I'm not suggesting to replace standard with a combo of wild and standard, I'm suggesting to have a new mode of play that combines the two in an ever changing format. You'll still have standard, you'll still have wild, and a new mode where it's actually fun and there isn't enough time for a meta to even be established.

Wild is frustrating and a separate mode for reasons like this.

The earliest would be in 2 weeks since that's roughly 1 month ahead and that's usually how they announce expansions/rotations of april.

They're going a long way to address one of the main complaints about the game: lack of dynamism in the content.

I am interested in the new Whizbang card that will be a reward in the next adventure. What kind of decks will be in it? Will it be playable on regular ladder?

no don't like the genn and baku hof, in fact I'm furious

naturalize can f off, doomguard seems meh, divine favor is a cancer card

gold hero from arena is cool but they should have added platinum and possibly others for 1000, 1500 etc

Glad to see Genn and Baku gone. The odd decks end up being too toxic.

Druid will just die to big dumb idiots more so than now without naturalize, but won't be able to do really dumb stuff either.

Divine favor - lol good

Dumbguards - think this is somewhat bad. zoo will now just run reckless rocketeers for budget decks or Leeroy otherwise.

Tank up doesn't stop aggro really anyways. I **** on warriors all day with odd pally and hunter, and was doing it with zoo before summoning nerfs.

That's under the assumption player skill is the same. Most people who play warrior blow their removal stuff too early and die.
