Even though almost half of the games are against Hunter, it still feels interesting. The last two games were both losses but one game I had Brawls and Reckless Flurries in my hand almost the whole game, and my late game was really hampered because I didn't want to play my Omega Assemblies because my hand was so full that I was having trouble dumping cards. The next game I spent the first half of the game needing one of those 4 cards but it didn't come until card #15 and it was too late. In between those two game I actually considered cutting one of either Flurry or Brawl since they often do get stuck in your hand. I wanted to play it out so I could have a nice 15 game sample of the deck and it was nicely illustrated to me why you would have 4 cards like that in the deck.

The hunter games all play out pretty differently. On the one hand yeah it's annoying to have almost half your matches against the same class but on the other hand, I think they are doing interesting stuff. They're creating board presences that allow for a lot of decision making and interactions. They've always got plenty of secrets up so it feels like it actually matters what you do on your own turn.

Ive seen multiple arena players complain about it. Not just kripp.

Damn, someone must've put some fire up Team 5's butt in the last four months. This kind of fast response is what the game has always needed.

I just played someone who main decked arcane missiles, breath of sindragosa, mirror image, 2x primordial glyph and frostbolt along side... spiteful summoner.

sooo blizz reveals expansion, everyone likes it, except when it comes out nobody is playing any new cards. So, they nerf some **** to make space for new cards - cue 2nd day after nerfs and the new no 1 deck is hunter that is 90% classic set

Playing some odd warrior and queued in to the same warlock two games in a row. First game he's got 2 void lords out on turn 8 and drops Geist. Concede. Second game he drops Geist on 6. Concede. Time to do something else for a couple minutes.

That seems very strong against regular Odd Warrior, but is that better vs. the rest of the field?

I'm playing my buff Paladin and run in to a super greedy Odd Warrior. He naturally runs two owls and two mind control techs on top of two Shield Slam/Flurry/Brawl. He owls both Prelates and hits on both his MC techs. The game comes down to a 1 in 4 that I win when Lynessa survives Brawl.

Anyone who wants to get a twelve win arena with Warrior now the time to do it. Bliz have gone too far in boosting Warrior card offerings and the average Warrior deck is stronger then any other class. Arena is supper tempo orientated right now but Warrior consistently gets offered cards that allow you to overcome a tempo deficit.
Just got my first with a deck with 1 two drop in it.
Just Shaman left but doesn't look like i'll be able to do it this expansion.

Just had a game where i had 3 straight turns of throwing down jan'alai, meteors are an amazing counter to opposing jan'alai

I've restricted myself from playing Hearthstone because it cuts off too much time from the poker grind and I get super addicted. However, last night, I figured I'd log in and do one arena and at the same time, get a feel for the new expansion.



So yeah, 12-0 is no joke, was a fun ride and obv ran good. Deck was decent, but nothing crazy.

Would really like to play more of HS but I have no discipline...

Watching ton of streamers though while eating; really into Dekkster lately. He seems underrated as I never hear or see his name mentioned.

Pretty fun so far. Haven't had much success vs OTK pally, doesn't seem like you can generate enough pressure fast enough before they run through their deck with CtA but otherwise most matchups seem good.
