chance to get Tundra Rhino has to be 99%

Pretty weird that I see Shudderworck shaman in every tournament lineup but I don't think I've seen it on ladder all season.

90% of my games are against Druid (every archetype is viable); paladin; odd rogue or warlock (60% zoo/40% some sort of control). There's the occasional odd warrior or tempo mage but not much else.

Made some changes to my earlier deck and went like 9-4 at rank 5, thought i'd share.

Now has the following multiple win conditions:
-Vicious Fledgeling early game ramp (with tar creeper protection), rarely works but it adds a few % to your win, or sometimes played after dragon's fury
Pocket Galaxy win conditions:
-1 mana Archmage + Lich King spells/Ysera spells for good amount of fireballs to finish, especially if it lives a turn.
-OTK: 1 mana Mecha'thun is either a 10/10 for 1, or if you face a toggwaggle deck or seal warlock deck you hard counter by mecha'thun + meteoring it at end of game.
-Stargazer + Pocket galaxy minions allows mid to late game vomiting minions, especially dropping (multiple) 12/6s, lich king, ysera, mecha'thun, or dragoncaller

Started season at rank 15, just hit rank 5. First time I've been above rank 12 in over a year.

I've seen less Druid lately, lots of warrior which is really annoying to play against at times. Boomship is a really good card. Had a really long but fun game against a Benedictus priest but was the only priest I've seen in weeks. Seeing virtually no pally. Tons of warlock too.

How is boomship a good card? In what matchups? It’s sucks in a lot of warrior matchups because you go to fatigue. Does it help in mid range/aggro matchups? I have the card and I never found a good time to use it

For some reason the local meta at ranks 5-4 contains a lot of shamans and freeze mages?!?!?

Typically the try hard ranks are all aggro. What a weird meta.

Don't think so, but this subforum is kind of like the LoL one where we are low on traffic.

Since my wife doesn't care, and considering I have almost 2 yr old twins, I never thought I'd actually hit real legend instead of dad legend..been playing since gvg. Cruised in one session from mid rank 4 with zoolock til r1 then stalled for a bit and won 5 in a row with even shaman. Feels good.

I’ve started playing again today and even lock feels strongest for 1-5 meta. Play it like a midrange beatdown deck (per VS). Doomsayer cut was so good. Loving the bonemare in this deck. Idk why I never thought of it.

Sometimes i wonder about the sanity of my opponents.

my opponent plays n'zoth, which brings back two sylvanas

I play a dreadscale poisonous zombeast which clears the board but sylvanas takes my zombeast

He then goes on to play a mountain giant and a voidcaller on his next turn, both die to the zombeast and the void caller doesn't even summon anything

only lock for me to bring is Token Druid... looking at the America's HCT lists it's so hard to say what's good in the tourney meta tbh. probably just bringing straight aggro is correct

I play odd warrior the best of all decks but it's not absurdly good esp if people bring quest rogue

why not just move hallucination to the classic set, it's not OP

Hallucination is discover though, quite a bit more powerful

Hallucination time travel power creeped it, pretty funny

I like these new cards simply because I think they achieve the goal stated, of giving new players a taste of cards they dont own. Each card is unlikely but possibly playable and def not too strong but still fun. Well done

The new Brawl is horrible. It took me all of 5 seconds to figure out that jaina was the most broken DK in the early game because of the insane tempo it gives and I quickly won the first 3 games of my quest.

Then today I log on, everybody has caught up to the meta and it's just mage v mage. And the game is 100% decided by who gets to play the first 1 toughness minion and ping it to get a water ely. You can't even play an early minion with 3-4 hp because you risk them having 2 or 3 dmg spells that give them the first ely advantage.
