legend meta makes no ****ing sense. bouncing from rank 500-1500 it's like nearly 100% super control, anti aggro decks. maybe 1/10 games I'll see an aggro deck.

Who knew making high roll cards that cause extreme swings could be a bad thing.

It’s the single biggest problem with the game. Cheating out turn 9/10 plays on turn 4/5/6 is just duhhhhhhh and boring insipid design.

Thinking about dark pact, would probably be balanced at either 2 mana or if it stays at 1 make it “silence and destroy”.

Dark pact is fine at 1. It's not a good card on it's own. Most aggro decks can burst through all the control/cubelock healing. They need to change lackey to be in line with other recruit cards where there's a recruit a mana of x-mana or less.

I don’t think dark pact is OP on its own, it’s just that it enables some busted combos in cube/control lock that the opponent can’t interact with. I like the concept of those decks, and want them to exist. If you change lackey so that it can’t pull voidlord, the decks just die.

I think lackey is kinda fine as is since it’s a super weak body for 2/2 with the recruit effect on the back end. If it’s just played on board, the opponent can interact with it, and prevent the voidlord from coming out. It’s only the synergy with dark pact that makes it a little too good.

They are interesting decks in that none of the cards by themselves are busted, but the synergies are.

How about making cube 6 mana? It would take away the 25 damage combo (unless you hold coin) while not damaging Cubelock too badly otherwise.

Eh, rather not nerf a neutral card that isn’t a problem with any other classes.

Also, the straight control version of the warlock deck doesn’t even run cube.

This might actually be good? I've climbed like 1000 legend places with this list. It's definitely fun. Totally different playstyle than the normal dragon combo, you really just get in your opponents ass with this one, it plays super fast and cycles like crazy.

Trying 1 pint sized in the list, it's produced some crazy lethals with potion of madness and also turns void ripper into a clear vs aggro.

Just won a game vs warlock in which i got through a voidlord and 2 lich kings for 32 damage lethal. Opponent was unhappy.

Words can't describe my hatred for Kingsbane rogue. I need to play it in order to understand how to ever beat it.

as a rule, it crushes all control decks

mill/fatigue warrior owns it...but it's basically a rock paper scissors deck with insanely high win rates vs control and insanely low vs any aggro.

J is playing asmodai (cosplaygrill) with secret mage vs asmo’s dragon combo deck. The two matches I saw weren’t pretty but asmo has been number one on a few servers with that deck and I think it’s a really bad matchup for secret mage especially with asmo getting clerics out early.

I was watching asmo's feed of the matches. Agreed with your observations. He's a fun dude to watch play.

Okay, reassuring re: kingsbane. I only ever get it with cubelock and it makes me want to cry.
