I don't think the rules allow for your optimal strategy. I think you always have to start fresh. At least double check before you start to make sure you don't waste a ton of time or get dq-d.

ah yea **** it needs to be fresh account and you only get 1 attempt. that's dumb.

I managed to draft quest warrior with 200 health in my 1st try with warrior.
Rogue was my kryptonite. It took me more than 5 attempts to finally beat the 8th boss.
If you know all the final bosses it gets a lot easier.
There are a couple bosses I only faced once.
I don't know if you can only play versus them with certain classes but it seems weird considering how much I've played.

Finally beat Warrior with a max 5 cost minions / your opponents minions cost 1 more deck getting the guy who discards 2 each turn as the final boss probably had more to do with it then the deck its self.

Warrior, Paladin, Shaman, and Warlock done.

For Warlock, always pick stealth if offered. Then pick all the demon packs and prioritize getting a Malganis on the board. Also try to get a Bloodreaver if you can to re-establish after a boardclear.

Beat Warrior on my first run, just got lucky with a bunch of fatties, Justicar, and double health. I was never really close to dying at any time. Darkness was final boss and easily fatigued him.

For Shaman, take double battlecries and almost every Jade pack possible and watch the hilarity ensue.

For Paladin, the 1 mana hero power and lots of Tarims and other token synergy made it pretty easy.

Trying to do Rogue next and been struggling. Had a decent Miracle deck going but ran into the boss that summons Troggs every time you cast a spell. Anyone beat Rogue tailor their deck toward a specific archetype?

The AFK room was hilarious to me. The first time I played it I beat it before it did anything and I thought boy was that weird. 2nd time though I finally saw what it was supposed to do.

Warrior, Shaman, Mage done for me.

Jades and rattles. I finally got it with like 8 Jade spirits and 4 Aya.

Just completed Priest even harder then Warrior 59 bosses to do it. Wax Rager was my last pick before the final boss and he totally carried me ended with a board of five of them.
Just Rogue to go now.

Completed all runs, the card back is pretty sweet.

I had warrior beat on my first attempt and donked off real hard. I was going to fatigue the last boss and instead shuffled half my deck into theirs and died.

Done it. Rogue not so bad minions 1+1 and double health worked and i got 2 Van Cleefs and 2 Sylvanas.

Rogue was tougher than Warrior for me, definitely took more tries. I'm also pretty unfamiliar with Warrior and very familiar with Rogue due to only playing arena so the gap should even be bigger.

The other classes I'm pretty confident in only taking 1-2 tries with, though the two runs I had with Warlock were insanely lucky and I have to run it again to know for sure against the final boss. First time I Bloodbloomed into Wish turn 2 (might have even been turn 1 with extra mana crystal) and second time I got the wand that drew 3 late game cards for 0 mana.

The mode is superfun and I haven't even touched arena except for two runs, and boy the spell offering bonus is bonkers again. By the end of last xpac I was getting like 4 spells as Mage per run, and now it's back up to 15+ spells per deck.

I can see Dungeon Run getting stale real soon though as most classes can mindlessly go Jade/Cthun and have a great shot.

Trump got a perfect run, what a beast.

Holy ****, just binked Dragon Soul off hallucination while playing miracle rogue. That deck would be Tier 1 with that weapon, insanely good.

Play Mage one time after winning 8 straight with priest and lose to eater of secrets eating ice block when I had lethal.

Destroy a ‘x’ cards are so terrible ffs blizzard. All it does is give you +10% against whatever you’re countering oh wow what skill

For the person eating the Ice Block, it feels so good that it makes up for how bad the would-be Ice Blocker feels.

That way it's reasonable to play as a subpar vanilla stat minion in a matchup where you aren't going to see X. But if you do get that positive outcome, you lose stats as a tradeoff.

Yeah same with the dragon slayer card. Just a terrible way to balance a card game

I generally agree, but mage is so ****ed up that there’s like no other way to balance it. They have so much burn and so many freezes that some classes just stand no chance unless they run eater of secrets. Like WTF is blizz thinking with exploding runes. That card is insanely busted. If your class has no healing, it’s just a death knell when it goes off.

In related news, I am currently running eater of secrets in my miracle deck.

I really hate this iteration of tempo mage, it’s extrodinarly boring and dumb. Tempo mage was my first legend deck, I’ve got over 1k wins with it. I always felt people underestimated its complexity back in the day, there were a good amount of advanced plays with the deck where you held back for big tempo swing turns. This version is just vomit your hand and send everything face. It’s awful.

it's been beaten to death a ton and pretty much everyone agrees that the cards that destroy 'X' (or target a class like dragonslayer) need to be flat-out removed

Man this cube warlock is incredibly fun (which is a good thing since I spent most of my dust crafting spellsslinger umbra and skull of manari lol). Can't really tell you how good it is since I've only played it in the dumpster (one loss from 25 to 16, at least one new player quit hearthstone for good) but it's strong against aggro and has a ton of burst for control. You cycle through the deck fast enough that the combo pieces come together fairly quickly.

Dream combo is skull of manari into Doom guard >umbra >cube > dark pact for 25 damage and a board of 4 5/7s plus 8 health. (Then after they Reno you can death Knight for 6 doomguards )

Another notable combo is umbra into mistress into cube for 16 health with 8 more in the mistresses on board
