Does the druid weapon mean you immediately go to 10 mana and get 10 crystals the turn it dies or refreshed or just get 10 mana for a turn? The language is quite ambiguous.

I think the weapon can be good in situations don't get me wrong. It's just more of a problem with fitting it into the current druid decks. So far we haven't seen any cards that make me think people will get away from Jade and Big druid lists.

It's kinda why I'm not that hyped about this expansion. I think there will be sleeper cards that will emerge after the rotation and Jades will finally be gone.

What's not to get hyped about a 20 mana turn. Yes Kun "does" that but it's really just a 7/7 + 10 mana. This weapon gives a lot more freedom to OTK with Maly again for instance. Or potentially going from 1 card (UI) to 10 in 9 cards if you draw UI with 2 5/5s, 10 armor, 2 5 damage attacks.

I hate to be negative since I don't even play this game anymore but these new cards seem like terrible ideas to me. Some of the cards are cool but the overall impact is meh; every class now has weapons, rogues have secrets. Warrior doesn't have a turn 2 war axe anymore and Innervate is nerfed; they've completely destroyed the class identity.

Priest dragon is meta breaking.

I think the dominance of priests is going to be unbearable post-expansion, IMO. The only way I see it being balance is if they give control warlock more tools to survive to Jaraxxus.

The existence of that dragon just utterly destroys the chance for aggro to thrive, IMO.

Dragon priest has been a lackluster archetype for quite some time, dont see how that card will make it much better

If you’re already at 10 mana, yes it’s no additional value but if you got oozed at 5 mana your next turn you’d have 10 full mana.

Other than pyro shenanigans (which dragon priest doesn't want to run), priest doesn't have a board clear before turn 5. So this is an AoE on a stick that also has a dragon tag, it's pretty strong. Compare it to Vilespine, it's power level is arguably higher (priest already has single target removal/big dude removal). I think it's definitely better against a zoo-/token -type deck than Twilight Guardian.

I could be wrong on all this because I'm rusty on what cards even exist but yeah, I think it's insane. Whether or not dragon priest can be better than other priest decks remains to be seen.

Shadow word horror is killing a lot of 3 health minions that get played by turn 4. Dragon priest would rather not run horror, though. If there’s a strong neutral dragon printed, DP will be good. If not, i dont know.

And you need an activator for that AOE so i’d imagine you’re running a full on dragon list.

It’s obviously a good card, i just dont know if it’s wtf insane.

i think the underestimated part of that card is that it is itself a dragon, which will in turn BUFF already crazy cards like dragon operative... scary

Shaman legendary--6 mana 7/7--so stated pretty well. But return other minions to your hand and they cost (1). I guess good for battlecry decks but not sure it fits with class.

New pally weapon--3 mana 2/2, gains a bonus effect in your hand--4 potential buffs, all of which aren't great--give your minions divine shield, give your minions taunt, summon 2 1/1 silver hand recruits, give your minions +1 attack--so in 3 cases they need a board. 2/2 weapons are pretty ****.

Mage 2 mana 2/2 beast minion--battlecry: reveal a spell in each deck. if yours costs more, draw it. Seems okay, especially if you play high mana spells.

Seems like a total win more card. If you ever play that in a situation where the board is still being contested, you’re just 100% dead vs most every class.
