What's a slow mind control worth, I assume a few mana depending on the situation. With certain classes, it can be worth a ton more like Warlock and with PO.

You could Mind Control the 5/5 your opponent got from UI a couple of turns ago. Only thing you'd be missing is 5 cards, 5 damage, and 5 armor - otherwise a solid 10 v 10 mana trade.

The Jade Druid who played his second UI against me with 1 health and 4 cards left learned a valuable lesson about the order of operations for that card.

i could never get this list to work but i made some changes to make it more fun and better

i cut commanding shout, wild pyro, public defender,

added a mountain giant, the 4/4 who deals 2 to everything when he dies, and yogg

the 4/4 plus sleep with the fishes is pretty nice

about half the time yogg is garbage and half the time he does some good stuff, so being able to play him 2-3 times in a game helps the variance fest.

It's probably a tier 2 or 3 deck but it's fun.

I actually need to sub Yogg in some decks, I think he's solid right now. Have seen some incredible Yoggs against me the last few days. Yet to see him cast UI tho.

if you play Yogg and he casts UI on himself then its like getting 5 armor, 5 cards, and a 5/5 for just 10 mana. great deal!

My thoughts on the nerfs:

Hardest hit is murloc paladin. Murloc Warleader change hurts murloc paladin quite a bit, the semi-heal was so useful and was often just enough that the murlocs stayed alive. They've been way off the power scale for a long time now (can you imagine not teching them in with any current murloc deck?), so i guess they needed to be nerfed?

Aggro druid getting a slight nerf. Innervate/hydra and Innervate/Flappy bird were semi-win conditions, and it will be much harder to buff your minions without innervate. That said more low cost minions will replace innervate so the deck gets to be more consistent. Expecting nerf won't hit aggro druid too hard.

Fiery War Axe has been fringe in pirate warrior, like people said this hurts control warrior much more than it hurts pirate. Expecting pirate warrior to be just as rampant.

Hex has been fringe for shamans and like the fiery war axe change, this really hurts control shaman (which doesn't exist) more than anything.

Spreading Plague nerf doesn't hurt jade that much imo and it will remain the number one deck

TL;DR: Meta won't change beyond murloc paladins being dead

Holy hell mill Warlock is fun. I guess it's more so fatigue or control but it's so satisfying to play. I burned Edwin, both Giants and a questing vs a rogue. The following game I burned anduin vs a priest which was a snap concede on 6 and I've even been beating hunters and a pirate warrior.

Quite enjoyed playing the jade druid deck. A deck that had inevitability allowing you to make a deck based around not dying rather than how every other hearthstone deck is aggro or midrange was really fun. I'll miss casting Yogg for 20 and grinding people out. Will also miss getting the rage adds because pirate warrior had to go through taunts in spreading plague instead of winning on turn 5.

Only played now and again, but not real keen to just jam aggro/midrange mirrors all the time Wish there were more control decks
