OK so after 2 days: if you're not playing highlander DK priest you're doing it wrong. It absolutely works all mid and slow decks minus quest warrior and does fine against aggro. The most dominating deck I've played in almost 3 years of this dumb game. Go play it before its nerfed and it will be. Hold raza in the mull.

I disagree, Mercy Priest is more consistent imo

I've gotten run over twice (playing highlander priest) by murloc shaman, only noticed that one new card in both games, the 2 mana one that draws 2 murlocs. It just applies pressure and reloads immediately after board clears. Last game I drew dragonfire AND holy nova, didn't matter.

Question: Would Doomsayer+Treachery be an auto 5 mana board clear at the start of their turn? I'm trying to deck build a Highlander Demon deck, but wanna know before I craft.

Yes, it would, in the same way when you dirty rat their doomsayer it works as a board clear.

The core is actually simple: Barnes, 2x Obsidian Statue, 2x Deathwing, Ysera (not required but can be pulled out with Deathwing Dragonlord), and Y'Shaarhj for minions, with 2x Eternal Servitude, 2x Shadow Essence, 2x Dragonfire, and 2x 0 mana silence. Everything else is up to you, but beware adding more minions and having poor Barnes, Shadow Essence, and Y'Shaarhj targets

Btw I've been told multiple times now that this deck requires Barnes to win, and the truth is you're like 75%+ to win if you get him out on turn 4 (especially if you pull Y'Shaarhj or 0 mana silence your Deathwing) but around 50% to win if you don't have Barnes by like turn 7.

So definitely hurts not having him early, but it's nowhere near a concede, it's why you run so much removal and hope you stall until you hard play them or Shadow Essence (which is just like Barnes)

I just OTKd some BMing douche with it. He summoned like 9 obsidians but couldn't kill maly and I dropped velen + mindblast and smite the next turn.

Prior game I lost to a guy who was running Barnes with northshire Lyra and radiants amongst all the big stuff. Soooooo terrible but hard to win when he gets gruul and then revives it in spite of having 7 minions die.

Miracle has to be good in this meta

I took my highlander dk priest to like rank 5 and 4 stars but it has brutally lopsided matchups, particularly against quest mage

I just went 11 games in a row without getting Barnes. Don't worry though shadow essence pulled it 5 times and yhsaarj pulled it 3/3 on a 50/50. Just went 3-8 with the OTK version.
