this card is nuts

its almost worth a 3 drop taunt already before the massive upside text

There are going to be so many times when Phantom wins games outright when it's a 7/5 that also procs Cultist and gets buffed by Captain. PW lacks minion presence in the midgame and frankly can use more card slots filled up by uh pirates.

Still think it'll be very good, given how quick Druid generate tokens. Mark of Lotus shenanigans too.

Just as an example of where this card could be very strong: T1 innervate Crypt Lord, T2 1 mana pirate+Patches and Mark of the lotus for a 2/9 2/3 2/2 board.

Can't see taunt Druid working out, but pretty sure this will get into token.

Yeah you're right, can probably just play Celestial Dreamer/Addled Grizzly/Elder Longneck here and it snowballs just as hard.

Turns out beating Jade Druids with Miracle Rogue is just as easy as beating them with Quest Rogue. Haven't lost that matchup seemingly in forever.

Freeze/Evolve/Copy shaman is going to be so ****ing annoying.

I don't understand how Druid is the most popular class per VS and both their win %s are 48 for Jade and 51 for Aggro. I guess Jade owns all the non secret Mages so it's why it's popular. Is Jade like Quest, in that the best are so much better than the average level player?

I was just reading the data reaper report and it says no, there's not a huge skill curve to it.

That shouldn't be a surprise, it's an easy deck to play.

My guess is it's a combo of a few things:

1. Everyone went hard for Jade Druid after Quest Rogue got nerfed.
2. Freeze Mage has become more popular, and people hate losing to Freeze Mage.
3. I assume Jade is still very popular in tournaments, though i haven't watched many lately.

Think there's a reasonably good chance that rogue will be dominant in the new meta.

They finally gave rogue some sort of healing, which is huge. They have some good weapons now and even more removal.

I think Pirate Rogue could be a thing.

Can't wait to see what the other cards are.

VS had a great breakdown of the meta in their closing paragraph. Jades are trying to counter the decks that counter the flood decks.

I really hate this meta
