Barnes is good dependent on decks imo. I just had a hard time recognizing what the win condition of kukra's deck was since I'm not quite familiar with all the new cards, but I think I may have seen a variation of it on stream.

Barnes is one of the best ideas they've ever come up with. He singlehandedly makes some really memey decks almost viable, like the Ysharrj Hunter, Renouncelock, Madam Goya Shaman.

And he's plenty strong in tons of other decks, like Nzoth decks, Maly rogue, the old MR shaman, etc.

talon priest is pretty damn good even if you dont have serious tempo minions early on

its pretty simple, vs aggro you win by surviving until popping the quest, 5 mana 8/8 and 40 hp should do the trick if you get it out successfully.

Vs control decks you win by having a ton of out-of-deck draw from deathrattles/barnes/mirage callers and then your last push of big value from nzoth.

Elemental Pally is legit. I just outvalued a Nzoth Priest who got a full Nzoth board, Elise and Amara. He got Rag LL, Lay on Hands and Spikeridged Steed (among others) from Shifting Shade while I never drew Rag (bottom 2 cards).

What does your Ele Paladin list look like? I made this one up on the fly yesterday and it seems to be competing with most of the meta decks. Only at rank 8 though.

Drew Lyra the Sunshard as my first Un'Goro legendary, guess I might have a swing at a Purify Priest deck for ****s and giggles.

I don't think there's room for Ivory Knight in pally decks anymore; Spikeridged Steed and Tarim are the stone nuts, and it's severely nerfed by Brann and Anyfin rotating out.

Some people are using the 7 mana weapon, and I can see its value but it seems awkward. It wants to synergies with Tarim but obviously turn 8 is for Tirion/Rag.

Shard gives you same effect as Frost Elemental but it's much cheaper.

Stonehill defender lets you discover Tirion/Tarim all the time.

Yeah Tarim is just a brilliant card, just straight up wins games against Rogue/Priest.

I dropped TBK and Burnbristle for 2 x Tar Creeper, and it seems to be a little more consistent for curving out the Elementals. There isn't as much taunt as I thought there'd be, so TBK sits in hand a lot, and we have enough heal/Tar Creeper is a better early control card IMO. Smuggler's has won a few games for me, so pretty happy with the inclusion. We just mulligan it away and only really play it in control matchups with 4+ minions in hand.

Can definitely see Stonehill Defender being the nuts in this deck, I just don't want to cut anything.

I don't see the appeal. I crafted it, used the last of my gold horde getting the dust for it and dusted a few worthless legendaries.

It's hard having enough cards/spells in hand to combo with her and priest spells are kind of **** and situational.

Also, I think elemental shaman is gonna be top tier oppressive, and the reason we're not seeing a lot of it is because of shaman fatigue/everyone blew their dust on quests.

yea i might have been wrong, meta looks possibly very fun. this might be the xpac i craft a high skill high cost slow deck and try to be good at it. suggestions? sitting on about 10k dust and no real cards.

Freeze is back! People have been getting legend with this with 75%+ winrates.

Well, mage is probably the list for that eventually, but I don't think a good list has been made yet.

Other than that, miracle rogue.

The one I'm running subs out glimmerroot for New Elise. The real star of the deck though is Shadow Visions. It's so ****in good I crafted a 2nd one to increase the chance of drawing it (my original version only ran 1, because I only had 1). If you play it after dropping Elise you're gonna discover the ungoro pack a good % of the time and that alone often wins games, plus you can discover the pack AGAIN when you play the second Shadow Visions if it's not already in your hand, AND if it's still in your deck after that you can potentially draw it 3x in the same game! You don't even need card draw late, though I'm still running 2x pw Shield and 2x Northshire Cleric anyway because early on the faster decks can still overwhelm you sometimes.

I'm also back-and-forth between ooze and potion of madness in that spot, it just depends on how many warriors I'm facing as to which one I run.

Even if you don't get the Ungoro pack, you still have another wincon with Lyra + Radiant Elemental chain pulling spells.

Confirm that Shadow Visions is crazy good, it adds so much consistency. I think it's the card Priest has been missing for a while.

Also not sure if feature or bug, but I just roped out while I was deciding which Adapt to select for a minion and it still cast the Adapt after my time was up. The game chose it for me.

Agree. I think it'd be good even in non-Lyra decks though I've not tested this. I do believe you could drop 2x SV and Elise into most any priest deck and it becomes a better deck, just given the nature of priest decks (spoiler they are slow)

The Purify list I'm running (this - 2x acolytes - 1x DoA + 1x Barnes + 2x radiant ele) is more tempo/combo so doesn't really fit Elise.

Shadow Visions makes finding that missing combo piece so much easier though. Consistently wins me games, almost never a bad draw.

I think my worst SV pull so far in that deck was Dragonfire, which is very nice if you're facing a rogue with 3x 5/5 minions (which probably aren't dragons) on board.

Best thing about it is that because it's Discover you can still draw the same card later.

My biggest issue so far has been getting the dream lyra + radiant down and then running out of time while cycling.
