The new priest 2 drop is totally busted. I was on the "never see play" camp on mana geode but this one will find its way into most priest decks

I've been really happy playing non-dragon priest decks this expansion (with The exception of dragon Reno, which I don't really count) so I'll be really happy if priest survives this next one

I think a Kazakus highlander style quest deck could work, but I'm not sure if there are still a good enough amount of death rattles out there, I haven't really looked closely.

It'll definitely be great in wild.

The good quests can't really be played around like warrior and mage. As soon as a paladin is on the quest I'm saving an answer for it aka devolve.

Just got my first ever rage add after I won with an atrocious pally deck cuz I'm trying to get through a quest. Really makes the win all that much more satisfying. Plus it was a rank 18 game, so really, who cares? People are amazing.

Pretty sure devolve is going to be one of the most broken cards this expansion. All these cool adapt mechanics don't matter when you can just devolve them away. Paladin is obviously totally boned, but I'm struggling to see how hunter has a chance vs shaman. Either they are either playing quest hunter, which has a bunch of ****ty 1 drops which are easily AOEed, the 8/8 reward gets hexed, and now hunter is stuck playing 1 drops and hero powering and hoping to wear them down (gl, since shaman also has a ton of healing cards even without healing wave). Meanwhile, a midrange hunter with beast synergy just gets devolved, buffed minions/highmane get hexed, and gg.

Certain cards probably need a special costs x but if devolved is y tag for that card.(like pally quest guy)

14 seems a bit low to have the quest done early though? Is there a calculator somewhere for the % chance u will have quest done by x turn based on # of 1 drops?

Trump doesn't exactly have the greatest track record of predicting the evolution of the meta and/or the strength of new cards, so him stating 14 is optimal means close to nothing to me.

Trogg/Totem Golem being gone is just so huge. Trogg regularly lives like 4+ turns and is trading into your 5 drop or doing 10+ damage to your face.
