Lol this rogue deck is so ****ing fun and decent. my WR is absurd. I can't figure out why this deck's even good. the one card I'd maybe replace because it seems out of place is skulker.

Thalnos was one of the first legendaries I ever got and I was initially like "what's this lame 1/1 a legendary for?".

Now I have it in a few decks and find myself regularly hoping to draw it. Its low cost and versatility make it really powerful.

Hungry Crab off Dark Peddler is now a thing.

The aggro rogue with finja package is absurdly good. been destroyed by it quite a few times.

Also had a fun game yesterday versus khun druid where he ramped up then double innverate at turn 4 (he has 6 mana already ) played aviana + khun + yogg. Yogg then pulled nourish also and he played out half his deck on board.
Was pretty cool combo even though I got wrecked.
I had an azure drake on board facing down aviana khun yogg fandral malygos and a 10/10 ancient of war at the end of the turn!

It's so good. I still have no idea why. I'm donking hard and I went from rank 18 to rank 9 in about an hour and a half yesterday, I think i must have won 14 or 15 straight. I lost count.

It may just be preying on the post nerf meta chaos and something will appear that wrecks it. PW seems to be a crappyish matchup but that's about all I lose to.

Druids lose on turn 5/6 quite frequently.

I subbed out a skulker for a Stranglethorn tiger to increase my curator draws and to give me some strong midgame burst but thinking I may reverse that decision because it only improves matchups that I'm already way favored in. Skulker's good vs shaman and PW to get back the board if you lose it. Naga corsair seems like a ****ty card to me but I'm not sure what else goes in that 4 slot other than tomb pillager.

aggro rogue is good, but wildly inconsistent (even for rogue) because so much of its power is wrapped up in finja

finja as a card is just straight up busted

He is very important, I've gone like 20 games without drawing him and I am barely hovering at 50%

Shaku straight up wins games though and you do you have enough burst and cycle to beat down reno

Drawing patches seems to be an auto loss

shaku is incrediblle. basically wins any game its not removed asap.

I got shaku in a pack and I'm not sure I've ever actually played the card once, maybe in arena?

I added a beneath the grounds post-nerf to counter all the reno/kaza decks I've been facing. I keep hovering between 50-55% as the deck is a lot of fun but inconsistent. I'm not sure if I'm playing it optimally either, probably not.

I might switch to shadow step for the extra burst though, I haven't played the variation you posted yet but mine is pretty close.

those only help your already good matchups though. IME any deck that plays a slower game gets rekt pretty good. The only tool I see kazakus decks having against this is AOEing your murlocs but by that point they're basically dead anyway and you have threats and plenty of burst left.

the problem matchups are warrior and shaman. I saw an interesting list that runs heavy on dragons and I'm gonna mess around with it. But at that point I ask myself why not just play warrior?

Beneath the Grounds is a bad card.

Last week, someone made a donation to Thijs but the condition was that he had to play 2X Beneath the Grounds in Miracle Rogue to rank 3 or something. He started the day at Rank 6 and I don't think he made it, it was a struggle and he was a good sport, but it clearly hindered his deck and doesn't help that much vs. Reno decks anyway.

The dragon version isn't as efficient and ruthless as the ones without them. They might help vs. Warrior (Twilight Guardian kinda rekts them) but it's actually less damage than just playing Tomb Pillager -- there's a reason that card has been a staple in every rogue deck for years.

2x Shadowstep is pretty sick. You don't have the extra cheap spells that Miracle Rogue has, so they can be used to make a big Edwin and it's a sick combo with Leeroy.

There's going to be an Elise-esque card in UnGoro, nice.

Overall I think the STB and SC nerfs were really good. It's only been like 9 days but the meta is much much improved and have been enjoying it.
