i just cant imagine getting much value from auctioneer beardo. decent body but hero powers are kind of crappy value as they are, being able to cast them more than once has never been good. maybe some synergy with justicar, but like, not that much and that card's going away soon.

you'd basically need to use him on turn 8 (with a 1 mana spell) to be able to use the hero power twice the turn he's played

played early, i dont see how hes a threat to snowball a game

The sequence where the guy (Pavel?) top decks Babbling Book and then gets Polymorph to use on his opponent's Malygos when he has no other answer in his deck was pretty amazing.

He also books a portal either the next turn or a few turns later for the perfect answer.

These new cards tilt toward more aggro, pull random murlocs from your deck, pull a 1/1 charging pirate from your deck, etc.

Even Priest is now encouraged to play 2 drops with the 3 drop that adds 3 health.

It seems Blizzard's method of balancing is figure out which class is the weakest, give it strong cards until it's OP, then figure out the new weakest class, give it strong cards until it's OP, etc. Well, that is the apparent effect anyway.

It's hard to blame them though. You have hundreds of cards in play and 9 classes. So 10 million players will likely figure out the OP cards over months and years, vs the tens of QA Blizz staff for a couple of weeks before the releases.
