Made a brutal misplay that cost him game 5 (6?). He played VanCleef out of order and had a 2/2 instead of a 4/4 early and got rolled that game. Before that he seemed to have the momentum in the match.

Obv you always have to run good to go this far but pavel was on redic heater. Plus he basically just beat druid hard to get through

I love how people don't seem to realize that hs is a card game and card games are inherently rng based with skill determining your long term results.

Like, what you draw and in what order is going to dominate your results but somehow implosion takes the game from pure skill to unplayable rng somehow(!)

So in the games I'm winning with Maly Rogue generally I don't even need Malygos. I ran over a Discardlock deck and a Maly Druid today and the games ended before turn 8.

The games I win are when I get Edwin/Pillager/Drake to stick to the board and get face damage in.

The games I'm losing also tend to end by turn 8.

Still can't come close to beating a shaman. Had a couple games today where I had a great draw and the perfect answers for the Trogg/Totem Golem/Feral Spirit but then I run out of gas and of course they have turns after you clear them where they put disgusting stuff on the board.

I'm thinking of putting a Dark Iron Skulker in instead of a Swashbuckler, but the deck is very congested in that 4-6 mana spot already.
