Pretty much 100% of decks that ran execute(s) before still run them now, at least as far as I can tell.

Sounds about right. I saw 1 warrior and 0 shaman in about 20 games off playing reno lock. Switch to mage and that's all I get.

Execute change only really affects dragon warrior a ton. Execute can't be combined with other cards as easy anymore but execute is still the best removal.

I played some control warrior and it actually felt noticeable. It's a worse deck due to the nerf. Still very good and only slightly worse, but still,... noticeable.

ye also makes cards like ysera, alex, rafaam clearly harder to include in any kind of warrior

Yeah, I haven't played Control Warrior since the nerf, but I've faced a lot of them and the change is much more significant than I originally thought.

I put together a warrior deck that included 2 charge and 1 Magnataur Alpha. I ran into someone who comboed that on me twice.

5 damage to 3 minions for 5 mana is pretty efficient.

I have no idea how you guys get a high winrate with renolock.

The aggro matchups feel almost unwinnable. You have such ****ty tempo, and not enough aoe.

Looooool. I'm with ya. I've played a huge amount of games and I can't break rank 13. Never experienced anything like it... so switch to MR shaman and snap go 1-5. Even won 5 in a row with PRIEST today.

I'm 7-1 vs hunter with cartoonlock. Call of Wild is too slow at 9 vs 8, really easy to prep for it. I'm not sure about BGH. It's either really good or utterly useless. Really glad renolock is viable again. I have golden warlock, but haven't played it in a long time because I'm not really a zoo guy.

I keep Reno vs everything except Priest and Warrior. Sometimes I'll keep vs warrior if my hand is really strong, just in case it's aggro.

It's certainly a fun deck to play. And challenging.

But every time I play a non-warrior control deck I keep thinking to myself: "dang, this wouldn't be so hard if I was just playing warrior".

I think you should toss him against druid, rogue, priest, maybe paladin, warrior

Still it's never bad to have him in hand because you can tap very aggressively which is good because it's basically handlock

I almost always kept reno when i used to play renolock. Priest and warrior only exceptions i think can also see dumping him vs paladin

shamans and hunters are handlocks worst enemies and they both got slapped a bit. Not sure if it's very competitive though? we'll see soon enough

Hunter is still Renolock's worst matchup. Everything needs to line up perfectly, like getting Doomsayer in starting hand, drawing Reno, and having Sylvanas on 5/6.
