It's not awful though. People probably just play it wrong. Does pretty well vs everything but warrior and drood.

I think Barnes kinda sucks overall. It's the card that you play on turn 4 when the other guy is off curve.

It just occurred to me that Barnes can lead to some bad outcomes in decks with Doomsayers.

Reynad has a theory that I hope isn't true but very well may be.

He predicts that Shaman will actually be stronger after this balance patch because even though Shaman had some nerfs, its nerfs were less impactful on the best Shaman decks vs. on the other best decks that could actually compete with Shaman.

As such the gap between the best Shaman decks and the best non-Shaman decks is actually wider now than it was post-patch.

Disagree. Druid without Yogg is still very strong. At least it's not an easy deck to pilot.

Dragon Warrior can utilize Charge:

- Makes Twilight Drake playable as a dragon activator/5-mana Icehowl
- Turn 10 play: Alexstrasza reduces enemy hero to 15 and takes out huge minion
- Potential for Varian Wrynn/Emperor shenanigans.

It's actually a really good deck and fun to play.

I found it a few days ago then unfortunately trump tried it out on his stream and took it to legend 16-3 win rate farming shamen.

Which is likely why you are seeing so many of them atm

It's hard to pilot well imo (I deffo make tons of errors myself) and the list looks quirky.

It basically auto loses to warrior due to armour up (though somehow I am at 50% v control warrior) which is the downside of it. Druid/paladin is also a tough match up as well due to healing abilities.

Just when I think things are starting to go well I lose to EATER OF SECRETS in Shaman (WTF?) and then a super YOLO yogg by an opponent at 2 HP which heals him for 16, wipes me and leaves them a board.

usually when I pull doomsayer it's not so bad because I'd almost always want to stall the game even if it means killing my own guys. The worst is when it happens vs hunter when he's got highmane lion or whatever it's called. That card is really tough for anyfin to deal with.

After some thinking, I have to agree with Reynad. Shaman (Midrange Shaman) will still be the best class by far.

Today Tyler hit top 10 with a deck that doesnt even run Rockbiter. Hard to believe Tuskarr is not replacable.

Anyfin in it's current form (ie minus Murk Eye) isn't bad and even when Murk Eye was around you weren't doing 25+ points of burst damage on turn 8. 12 points of burst on turn 10+ doesn't seem that broken to me, and usually (at least in my case, for what that's worth) I'm not winning the game unless I can get the second anyfin down. By that time we're well past turn 10 usually.

rb hurts aggro not mid range imo there was a rank 1 legend deck this season that didnt run rb's. not being able to high roll tuskar is sweet but just means less insta conceding >.< being a one of with a unbound or MoE seems fine to me

i can see double flamestrike mages being strong tho
